These are very nice. Easy to get tight on the wires. I used them on 4 wire awg 12 and they worked great!

I was hanging a light recently and didn't have the right color/size connector, so when I saw these it was a no-brainer. This size covers most types of DC and AC wiring I do, from 22-12 gauge.My son is a union electrician and he recommended these Ideal nuts over others because he uses the next larger size regularly.He also told me a great way (see photo) to more easily twist these nuts... a socket! This size Ideal nut fits perfectly into a 12mm metric socket. They also fit into a 1/2" socket, but 12mm is a more snug fit. The standard 12mm socket worked, but the deep well 12mm was perfect, as the nut sort-of clicks into it and stays in place. I found a spare 12mm 1/4" drive deep socket and bought a 1/4" socket to 1/4" hex drive adapter (Dewalt DW2541) for a couple bucks. Now when I need to screw on wire nuts, I simply put the end of the hex drive socket into my hex screwdriver (or drill).Safety Note: Obviously, turn off the power first and use a plastic handled screwdriver to insulate yourself from the metal socket and driver shaft just in case. This isn't an issue with the Klein hex driver I use.These are great quality, super versatile wire nuts!!

These are genuine IDEAL large wirenuts. They are really good quality and the little part inside doesn't come out like the cheaper ones. I highly recommend them for larger wires (maybe 12awg +)

3M tan/reds are becoming more garbage! These Ideals are so much better and grip the wire good!

I absolutely love this product. I’ve long felt like the Ideal Twister Pro connectors are the best in the industry, but the red/yellows were often a bit large and the blue/orange connectors were often a bit small. These new yellow/tan connectors perfectly fill that gap.

These work MUCH better than a standard wire nut connector. They bite onto the wires extremely well and the connection they make feels secure. The skirt on the bottom gathers and holds the wires into the nut well. I used to tape my wire nuts, but with these it seems there may not be a reason to any longer.I've seen Electricians use these on the job a lot, now I know why. Grab a box, you won't regret it.

Nice size holds great but no wings to tighten with - if you use a couple - great - if you are doing a large project cannot use a common nut tightener

These wire nuts are so much better than the usual ones. They are very secure and are easy to use.
