Best quality sticky notes
I’ve tried the cheaper versions but always come back to Post-its. They offer a superior level of ‘stick’. The colour of note isn’t too bright and it does exactly what I need it to. I can guarantee when posting on walls or flip charts that they will stay and can be moved around without losing stick. The paper is good quality and, while a bit more expensive than others, definitely worth it for their functionality.

Ruled for neat notes and clear lists
Post-it Ruled Notes Pad - 76mm x 76mm - Canary Yellow - Pack of 6 x 100-sheet pads=== OVERALL ===These are exactly the same as regular Post-it notes except they are ruled. Each Post-it note has 8 lines on it, which means they're just under 1cm apart, so nice wide spacing for notes and lists. There's also a gap at the top before the first line comes in, which is good if you want to write a nice big heading for your list. A handy addition to the Post-its range for stationery geeks.=== THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT ===* The usual good quality you'd expect from the original low tack sticky notes - quality paper, quality glue* Ruled lines make it easier to keep notes and lists neat and clear* Multipack offers better value than buying pads individually=== NIGGLES ===* The lines are quite wide spaced so may not suit if you have small hand-writing or a lot to write* Eye-wateringly expensive compared to sticky notes you can buy in multipacks at any pound shop - for sale at the time of writing this review at £10.92 (RRP £13.09) for 6 packs each of 100 sheets

useful
I never thought that I would be a post-it fan but over the last 10 years or so I have discovered that these little stick-its can be a great help, especially when you need reminders of appointments, etc.I use these on the back of the front door and my bedroom door to remind me of upcoming appointments (I have a number of medical appointments due to my deteriorating health and keeping track of them is important and sometimes impossible as many of them are made by phone call from the appointments department at the hospital). There is a post-it pad in the kitchen and every time we use something like soup or spaghetti it is written on the top page of pad which is then attached to my purse and becomes our shopping list.Post-its are also useful when researching. I use different colours for different subjects – each stick-it will be attached to the front cover of the book and have the relevant page numbers written on it. This makes it much easier to keep track of the texts which I have used.Add to these home uses their application for my employment and, now I do use them, I wonder how I managed before.

Are the lines really necessary?
I am a big fan of Post-It notes, given the multitude of tasks they can be used for, whether that be for scribbling down a quick note or phone number, or the creation of a checklist. The Post-It notes included in this particular pack are identical in size (being a square at 76mm x 76mm) and colour (which is pale canary yellow) to one of the most common styles of Post-It note pads available, but for some reason, this version comes with lines on it. In my opinion, the presence of lines only reduces the flexibility of the Post-It note pad, as it's much less easy to scribble down a quick note whilst on the telephone and also reduces the amount of information you can fit on each post it note, as the lines are quite widely spaced. In my view, Post-It notes weren't designed to be a method of extremely neat note making, but instead as a quick reminder of things which need to be done or as a temporary place to write down some quick notes until they can be properly written up. The inclusion of lines doesn't seem to help achieve either of these objectives.Having said that, I don't generally tend to write that much on a Post-It note (usually just a couple of words, or short bullet points) and to the extent that this is reasonably common, then the inclusion of lines shouldn't really be that bothersome and the Post-It notes should still fulfil the same objective. In addition, the lines aren't overly dark, so it could be possible to just ignore them, but that might look a bit messy. In summary, my opinion would be that whilst the inclusion of lines doesn't provide any advantage over regular Post-It notes (and might even be a hindrance if you want to fit a lot onto each Post-It note), they generally shouldn't be significantly disadvantageous either. However, to that extent, I just can't see why they have been added in the first place.
