This is my first time seeing the Multi grain Apple flavor of Gerber cereal. My daughter eats Gerber cereal very often, so I thought we'd tried all the flavors at this point, lol. This came with 6 containers of the apple cereal, and I think the price is fair compared to what I pay in stores. I always try my kiddo's new foods first, before giving them to her, so I did try this myself. I have to say, it's honestly really good! I was surprised, and my husband even thought it was great. My daughter is loving it, and I think it may just be her new favorite. This is categorized as being for a Sitter/2nd foods. It's very finely milled, and has very thin, small pieces of dehydrated apple. We have been mixing it with 1% milk, and haven't had any issues with our daughter finishing her bowl. These came packaged in a Gerber box, inside the shipping materials. We use lots of Gerber foods and products for her, so it's a company I trust. I would definitely recommend this cereal to other parents. It's the best one we've tried so far!

My toddler likes to have an in between version of an avocado, banana, and peanut butter smoothie and puree for breakfast. We thin out the peanut butter with some milk and have added some baby cereal in there for added grains and iron content. This makes me feel like I am helping to provide beneficial and healthy foods for little one. We used Earth's Best organic rice cereal when first starting, and I do wish that this could at least be organic. For a 6 pack, this is a good value for the current price and can last a while depending on how much liquid you add.

The Gerber Multigrain Apple Baby Cereal is a good second-stage food for your growing baby. It contains a lot more ingredients than the first-stage rice cereal, including whole-grain wheat flour, whole-grain oat flour, pearled barley flour, apple flakes, cornstarch, maltodextrin, potassium phosphate, canola lecithin, and sunflower lecithin. It's best suited for older babies as you're introducing new ingredients and testing for allergies. The cereal mixes well with water, milk, or juice, and the consistency is very smooth. The apple flavor is very mild; from a grown-up standpoint, it's not sweet. Each bottle is properly sealed and has a convenient pour spout at the top to keep the cereal fresh while making it easy to dispense and the set comes with six bottles, so you'll have plenty of cereal for your baby to enjoy. It's a good second-stage cereal for your child that's worth considering.

This Gerber Multigrain Apple Baby Cereal is quite tasty! The little ate it much more eagerly than her regular (plain) baby cereal. The cereal is super easy to prepare - just measure out the desired amount and add water, formula or milk. Adding milk definitely makes it creamier. I tasted it myself and I'll admit, it's actually pretty good! The apple flavor is mild but still detectable. It definitely isn't sweet! The texture is pretty standard for baby cereal. Soft, mushy, easy to eat. It is similar in texture to instant grits. The plastic containers keep the cereal dry and are super easy to open and close. They are easy to pack in a bag when traveling and don't crush or damage easily like flimsy cardboard packages!
