Almost perfect!
The media could not be loaded. Would of given 5 stars, BUTTTT… the directions are TRASH. I was only able to put it together because of watching previous reviews and videos from other reviewers. So I suggest you do the same and then you’ll understand how to put it together and it will be OK!

Good Shelf Bad Instructions
This is a very sturdy shelf. Materials are good quality and it can be adjusted for a custom fit in your space. However it’s very troublesome to put together. I didn’t read the other reviews before hand but thanks to a little common sense I got it together. Here’s what I learned:1. Check all the pieces before you start assembling it. The first one I received the holes for the top shelf were in the wrong place on one side. Clear manufacturing error. It was easy to return and get a replacement but just check before you get started.2. You get more pieces than are provided on the instructions. For example it says foot pad and shows the round pieces but it doesn’t say you need the square piece that goes in first and the. The round foot pad. Common sense says you have to put the square in first when you look at the shelf legs but still it should be on the instructions.3. Other things not on the instructions are the adjuster pieces, the rod direction and the bolt pieces. The adjuster that it shows in the instructions is actually 2 pieces you put together and those individual pieces are not pictured. Again common sense when you put the rods together that those pieces are needed and how they fit the rods in but it should be clear on the instructions. Also the rods are different ends. One end goes into the main base with a screw size end and one end is inserted into the dual rod piece that has a larger open end. The silver bolt ends are needed to secure the screws on the top shelf. Unlike the leg and rod pieces the screws don’t have an already fitted hole. You put the bolts on the inside corners of the shelf and screw on the outside into the bolt to secure it.4. You may need other tools. I had to use a hammer to get the squares into the bottom legs because two were stuck and not wanting to go down no matter how hard I pressed.5. Check the advertised photos if you’re unsure of something (or read the reviews). Makes it easier since the instructions are bare basic.

Really nice shelf, really bad instructions
First I want to say how much I like the shelf, it is a nice strong metal, it is very adjustable and I like the design. That said the instructions are terrible. They only list some of the items included. The written instructions mislabel parts and are pretty much useless. I included a pic of the instructions. The instructions don't list the bolts needed to attach the screws, the multiple pieces that make up the feet, the multiple pieces that make the back expand, or the breadboard holder. I literally had to go back to the Amazon page to see what the breadboard holder was, because I was like what is this thing? Putting it together is not too hard, you just have to figure it out yourself. The solid shelf screws onto the side pieces, but be sure to either open it or separate the pieces before adding the screws. If the expanding shelf is closed when you put the screws in, it will no longer be expandable. I found it quite challenging to get the bolts onto the screws because they go into a corner, but once you get them started you can use the Allen wrench and it's easy as pie. You can take the expanding shelf fully apart and do each side separately then slide it back together, I found that easiest. The back piece has two adjustable poles and multiple pieces that make them attach. The instructions make it seem it's already together, but it's not. Add both pieces, then slide in the pole and tighten the screw-on piece (it's plastic but it works). For the feet, the square piece fits in then the foot screws into that. Overall I really like the shelf and find it extremely useful but the company should pay someone to rewrite their instructions.

Cheap!
I guess you get what you pay for.. there was a missing hole on one side.. so it's not very sturdy.. very cheap..
