I would recommend this for teens and adults, however, little kids can enjoy it too, especially stem oriented children, with adult guidance. My 9 and 10 year olds helped to build this but would have become frustrated without teen and adult supervision. I only mention this because young kids are typically drawn to these brick-building type sets, and will no doubt ask to help their parents or older siblings to play too.
