i am putting this on my xj with a 4.5 inch rough country kit and 2 inch spacers so approx 6.5inches will it work?

Yes it will be fine. I just put it on mine with 7.5-8 inches of lift with no trouble. For best results, make sure your track bar matches the angle of the drag link. The farther they are off the more bump steer you will have. I would recommend a do it yourself track bar kit from RUFF STUFF or BALLISTIC FAB. Put them where you want and adjust how you want.

According to the specs in the ad, 4” is the max. I’m putting it on a 4.5” suspension lift + 1” body lift. You can contact the company direct for a more detailed answer. FYI, with that much lift, you may want to go custom fab.

This thing is stout!

This is a great upgrade for a Jeep TJ.

This a seriously heavy duty upgrade to the steering. Installation was easy and adjustments for toe and steering wheel were a piece of cake. Highly recommend!

Beefy but make a trip to the hardware store before install

The steering kit is pretty much as expected from Currie. Sturdy construction, quality tierod ends. The only thing I was not happy with was the hardware for the tierod clamps seem to be swapped for cheaper quality. Both of mine striped at less than 15 lbs. The directions didnt have torque specs for the clamps, only the castle nuts.Still would recommend purchasing but just know you'll need to swap out the hardware for the clamps.

Best steering upgrade

This is the best upgrade for heavy tires, it keeps the same geometry and also dampens the vibration that you feel with the stock steering. Easy installation and a massive improvement in ride!

Great product! Cheap hardware...

Solid product, I would definitely recomend. Steering is tight on my Jeep LJ with 35"s. I haven't dragged it across any rocks yet but the RockJock steering is build like a tank. I ran into issues with some of the hardware (steering stabalizer bracket u-bolt and nuts). Feedback for RockJock... don't skimp on the little things like hardware.
