Love these hinges. Worked exactly as needed. Other comments true as well. They do have slack or slop, side to side. You better mount them correctly becuase there are no adjustments. Glad I read those comments. I was mounting a full length mirror flush against a wall. Mounted 3 hinges to mirror frame 3/4" from mirror edge. Held mirror in place, placed upward pressure on hinge then punched, drilled and screwed lower, away from mirror screw hole. Drew a line on bottom of one hinge. Opened hinges and lifted mirror. Not quite a 1/16th inch rise on mirror side of line. Set remaining screws. Mirror was aligned prefect. If I had to do over I might have biased the hinges upward to start with. PS Used #8 size screws as recommended as well. Thanks for comments.

Put these on a "hidden" closet door and they work perfect. They have a slow closer bit closer tight. They are a little hard to install because they are stiff. However they are well built and been going strong for over a year now.

Very Versatile hinge that is adaptable to inset/flush or face mount in a variety of different overlap proportions. It can even be flipped around backwards to use in shallow depth / low clearance situations. This is unusual because most wide throw hinges are single application specific. This hinge does not require a pocket recess in the door or frame and simply screws to the flat panel which is very nice. This was the perfect solution for faux wainscoting panel wet-wall access in a very visible location. Installation requires attention to detail. There is poor adjustability once installed, so start with screwing in the slotted holes first.

Used these for my crawlspace door. Easy to install and have worked well to hold the floor door open and not have to lift the whole thing. I like the way the hydraulic adjustable hinge moves so the door doesn't fall back when open. Super happy with the purchase.

Perfect for hidden floor hatch door. I was afraid these would be too flimsy bit they work great. I'm adding struts for the extra support. I wanted something that wouldn't bind when opening the hatch, but also close flush and this works perfect.

Those are great of great quality. However, don't use them for small doors. Unless you are working with some heavy doors, they are not the best to use. With small doors, you will have to put a lot of pressure to pull the door out as these tend to be really strong and have too much spring power. With heavier doors, the weight of the door overcomes the strengths and makes the operation of these hinges much smoother.

Indoor use only! This isn’t stainless steel! Bad rust after only one winter outside. Otherwise these are super strong and high quality for indoor low humidity settings.

Hinges work great- pushing out a 1/2 inch to get around framework. A few people commented that it was difficult to position the hinge since there are no instructions and the hinge needs to be closed to position it properly. SOLUTION: All you need to do is use a small scrap of wood to get the location right. Once you have the hinge mounted on your base on that one side, copy the location on the other. Use the scrap lid to mark the position of the hinge on your actual lid. Just make sure the scrap of wood is small enough so you can close it whole way and still see the hinge.

I like the price, you get 2 pairs (4 hinges) per pack. The first pack i got, two of the 4 hinges have a little loose in them, one of the two "might" have been my fault but that leaves one that wasn't my fault. I haven't opened the second pack, one project at a time lol.The screws provided are nice and strong, but too big for most holes on the hinges (phillips #8 screws are the provided ones in pictures), test all holes to see if the screws fit before using and get yourself #6 screws of appropriate length, seriously. I won't reduce rating for the loose, it's minimal and i look at other sellers and they have complaints of the same problem (the hinges of this size and specs all look identical, i think it's the same manufacturer no matter the seller, but i could be wrong). Anyway they work great, i don't need 170-135 degree opening but these work for thicker wood. The wood I'm using is from old crates and has an average thickness of 7/8" and these hinges work. The only thing missing that would have been useful is the "instructions" (measurements) for hinge placement. But if you look at other sellers they have pictures, giving you what you need. They were easy to install, but i wanted the pictures with measurements first. I don't know how they will hold up long term, i just installed them for testing and removed them after, easier to finish the project. But for now, they work, I'm happy, 5 stars. Good price (at time of writing this). And remember to get #6 screws, locally if possible.

The hinges have far too much give/movement in them and my hatch door ( which is not heavy ) drops by almost half an inch as soon as it’s opened. This means the door doesn’t close back into its hole unless I lift the door. There is no way to tighten them, so overall a pretty useless hinges.
