It works, but it also depends on how much limescale you have. I tried 1 tablet for 30 mins as stated and it did something. I tried it overnight and it did a bit more, in the end I simply boiled the kettle and poured it down the bowl and added 3 tablets... It fizzed like a witches cauldron and turned deep green and by morning after a little scrub with the brush, it had all gone and left it looking like new. It was worth it for the price and easy to use, smelled good too

This stuff is incredible! We recently bought an empty house that had clearly not been maintained properly. All the toilets were full of limescale and we were recommended these. They are very good value for money, we had to use 3x boxes against 3x toilets, so a box per toilet, 2x tabs per time and leaving for up to 12-24 hours. The limescale cleared and the toilets finally looked clean. The foam reaches far enough up the bowl and they are very easy to use. I will add that they are so good you should be cautious as they literally removed limescale from the pipes which caused a blockage, we removed the limescale from the trap outside (see picture).

I’ve bought these toilet tablets many times because they work well. For heavy limescale, I used 2 tablets and left them for 2 days before brushing. As shown in my before-and-after photos, almost all of the limescale came off, with only a little very stubborn build-up remaining. The scent is pleasant and I’m happy with the cleaning result. I’ve given 4 stars because for stubborn limescale the toilet really needs to be left unused for a couple of days, which isn’t always practical. Overall, very effective and I’ll keep repurchasing them.

Really good product and does what it says. Good value for money and the foaming is excellent. It cleans the toilet well and doesn't smell of chemicals.

Lets just say after a flush a rather unpleasant sulphur? eggy? wafting pong would emit from the loo - and I had tried a lot of things, but no joy - thought eventually I'd need a plumber in the check. Yes, I was cleaning limescale from the bowl albeit not able to get it all, but then never gave the actual piping and bend a thought so I had a really good research session. I'd already poured some white vinegar into the cistern overnight to help clean inside of that (it did, but the smell was still present) while I waited for these to arrive. Like someone else did, once they came, that night I placed two into the bowl and put the lid down, honestly crossing fingers but not expecting much. Morning came and woah, not only did my white loo bowl look white, but all the limescale that was hard to reach in it - gone. I flushed the loo and for the first time in months, no wafting pong, that was completely gone too. Give it a go before calling a pricey plumber. Hope this helps.

Now with these, they actually foam but I had to treat multiple times for a mild stubborn stain that has been there for months. It removed most of it but what totally removed the stain was when I combined it with pumice toilet cleaner. The stain vanished and my toilet bowl returned to new. I still use it once a while to prevent build up.
