If you have a son or daughter just starting to drive....
This is a great thing to have in their car. When they get a flat, they can simply call you for help. They won't know how to use this can because kids these days are relatively useless. But, once you explain it to them, they will ask you to call roadside assistance because they are not sure which way to turn the screw. Even when they figure out "righty tighty, lefty loosey", they won't have the strength to push the button to add foam to the tire. I let my daughter know that if she is ever accosted while driving, she can use this can to beat the man about the head and neck. Overall a good product. More usefull than kids these days.

Fixed a slow leak on the wheel itself.
The car, a 2004 Town and Country van, has had a very slow leak on one of the wheels since new. Slow enough that the dealer and the Firestone mechanics couldn't find it over the years. Slow enough I wasn't even sure there was a leak... but every month or so the low pressure light would come on. The issue persisted even through four new sets of tires (replaced for wear, not because of the leak). The dealers asserted that it was just "natural porosity..." Dealerspeak for "suck it up friend." I finally kept tabs on which tire was the lowest- turned out to be consistently the same one by a couple of PSI- and decided to use the fix a flat. No issues getting it in the tire and months and months and miles and miles later all is well.

Works Great (if you follow the directions)
This worked well for me. I think some people may be under the mistaken impression that a can of this will re-inflate a flat tire. I don’t think the can has the pressure or volume necessary for that. What it WILL do however is dispense a sticky glue-like liquid into a *deflated* tire. You then use a compressor/pump to bring the tire up to full pressure and *immediately* drive around a bit, so that the liquid evenly coats the entire inside surface and (hopefully) seals any small leaks. It worked great for me!

It Works :)
I bought this after someone told me about Fix-A-Flat. I had had a flat, and a good Samaritan helped me get a similar product...heck, he walked with me to a gas station, helped me buy it, showed me how to use it, then said, you should keep one or two in your car for emergencies. I bought them.So I have used one today. Tire went flat on the way to work (knew there was a problem by then sound). Pulled over to a nice safe place, read the instructions, and used it. It worked. I got to work on time. Later I went to a local gas station that fixes punctures....they pulled out the screw, that cause the leak, plugged the leak, and I was good to go.I will still have my tire checked when I get back from my vacation next week, but I'm so happy to be able to take that vacation!cbp.s.When I bought these, I bought some for friends. I think that they were great gifts. Now, I'm off to buy a few more......cb

Holds for a month+
I recently used a bottle of 5+ years old fix-a-flat thats been lying around on both a riding mower tire and a dolly cart tire. In both cases it inflated the tire nicely and they are still inflated more than a month later. The directions say to replace asap, and I would for a car, but I have been pleasantly surprised that for smaller equipment its one chore I dont need to deal with (so far). I'm keeping a can around for now on to deal with wheelbarrows and wood moving carts and similar. Frankly if it cost me a can twice a year not to swap flat tires that would be worth it.Review is for the product, not this particular can size since the one I used was years old. This was the replacement purchase.

Great for hard to remove tires (riding mowers, wheelbarrows, moving dolly's). Lasts for at least a year or more.
Works really well on tires u cannot remove without real difficulty ... like my riding mower, my wheelbarrow, and my moving dolly. U can spend a day removing these tires and a week trying to find replacement tires ... or a few minutes to inflate the tires w/ this fix it foam product. The tires stay inflated for at least a year.

Wow
Along with other items in the event of an emergency, I had had a can of this in the trunk of my car. It had been in there for at least three years or more, maybe five or six.Long story short, I discovered a slow leak in one of my tires, saw the head of a nail that had penetrated the tire; removed the nail, immediately the tire went flat.I followed the directions on the can, put this years old can of stuff in the tire and drove the vehicle off and on for WEEKS until I finally got it to a tire shop.I could not believe how long it held up.

Fix your flat, no new tire
So your suppose to use this to get your car to the gas station so they can fix your tire. I used it to fix a small leak and when I brought it to the tire shop they couldn’t find the leak so I saved myself the cost of a new tire. However it did mess with the tire senser and I had to reset the tire pressure settings a few times before this problem subsided.
