Beyond Impressed!
I am beyond impressed with these ice block molds! The ice blocks are substantial, and the silicone molds are easy to fill and clean. They've made a significant difference in the temperature of my cold plunge, and the durability is exceptional. I'm already considering buying more sets – they're that good. A definite five-star rating for this outstanding product!

works as expected - nice sized blocks
The lids were needed to ensure water did not spill out of mold when freezing the blocks, but since the mold and lids are both silicone it is hard to get to fit the lid on properly when the mold is full with water (water still spills out). You could get around the mess by setting the mold in a pan to catch the spills and placing the pan in the freezer with the mold. A frozen block comes out of the mold easily. Blocks are good sized and thus take a while to melt, perfect for a plunge. Two (2) blocks are enough for a bathtub size plunge (they melt in about 30 minutes depending on the temp of your water from the faucet). You can always add more to cool the water faster, I will likely buy 2 more molds, but it is not really needed for a quick plunge in a tub.

Cold Plunge Necessity
If you're serious about your cold plunging routine, these ice molds are an absolute must-have. The size of the ice blocks they create is perfect for keeping your plunge baths at the optimal temperature for longer periods. Say goodbye to constantly buying bags of ice – these molds have you covered.

Broke first use
I put water in these things once, not even full to the top. By the time it froze, the weight or pressure deformed the sides so it became probably 1.5" wider than when it started. Not the end of the world by any means.I left them in my freezer for about two months until the day I needed it. Ice came out no problem but as I refilled it I noticed a tear (approximately 1cm across) had formed on the side that's significant enough that I don't think I can patch it.Maybe I got a lemon, but I'm a little ticked I paid $30 for a single-mold piece of silicone and it worked once.

Each Mold Only makes 6.25 Lbs of ICE, Not 8
We do a lot of camping and price of good block ice has gotten somewhat expensive so we got a set of these ice molds to try out. Here are my findings after making ice:The Good:1. The molds have no smell. I was concerned that a rubber product would have an unpleasant odor but they have none.2. The molds are sturdy enough to pick them up and move them around without the mold collapsing and dumping water all over the place3. The lid is not leak proof but it keeps the water from splashing out when moving the filled mold from the sink to the freezer.4: It is easy enough to remove the frozen block of ice from the mold. The Not so Good:1. I weighed my first frozen block of ice from a mold that was filled to the "MAX" line and it weighed 6.25 lbs, not 8 as the listing suggests.2. I thought my trusty kitchen scale might be wrong so I measured how much water it takes to fill the mold to the MAX water line. It takes exactly 12 cups. A cup of water at room temp weights 0.52lbs. 12 cups weight 6.24 lbs.3. If you filled the mold to the very top it would come real close to making 8 lbs except water expands 8%, by volume, when it changes from water into ice. If you tried this you would get water all over the inside of your freezer. Not recommended.I deducted 1 star for the seller not being honest about how much ice the mold makes. None the less, the molds themselves are really good and I am going to buy 2 more of them. 25lbs of block ice will keep my camping cooler cold for many days.

Perfect for Ice Bath
These molds make super large ice blocks. They work just as they should. Let thaw or rinse with water remove easily.

Garbage
Made a few ice blocks. Silicone is very thin where they made it fold to collapse. The thing just ripped with no effort. Try something else

As expected
I got exactly what I expected. I like That they store flat but at full size make rather large ice blocks. They are easy to use. You can’t stack them in the freezer. They are a good value. They are easy to remove the ice. They’re great
