This Amallow Tallow Lip Balm is incredible. I’ve tried so many “clean” lip balms, but nothing comes close to how nourishing this one is. The tallow makes it super creamy and moisturizing without feeling greasy, and it actually stays on instead of disappearing after a few minutes. My lips feel soft and healed even in cold weather, and I love that it’s completely non-toxic and made with simple, natural ingredients. It has a subtle, clean scent and comes in a minimal, eco-friendly tube that I love tossing in my bag. If you’re tired of reapplying lip balm every hour, this is the one you need. My new holy grail!

This is hands down the best tallow lip balm I’ve tried in a long time! I absolutely love the texture it’s smooth, rich, and super nourishing. The orange scent and flavor are just perfect, not overpowering but fresh and natural. I can already tell this is going to be my go-to lip balm from now on. I’m obsessed!

Maybe it’s just me, but it doesn’t glide on like it looks like it should. It’s thick, sticky and smells like children’s Halloween makeup and melted crayons. I don’t feel like it absorbs into my lips and hydrates at all, more like it just sits on top and waits to catch hair in the stickiness. Also, and maybe this is petty, but it’s an almost $30 lip gloss so it should be better, but the delivery tube is like getting a mini cupping therapy every time I try to use it. The suction when you squeeze out the product and then let loose to apply, suck not only All of the product back inside, but tries to take your lower lip along with it. Only way to really get it out is to squeeze a little on to your finger, then apply. I think the product has potential, it’s just not there yet. At least not for me.

First off, I loved the smell of this balm, not beefy or waxy or unpleasant at all! Very sweet vanilla, which is perfect. I found this balm to be thin and lightweight like a lip oil in texture. It doesn’t last super long but is also nearly weightless. I’m guessing this is why it’s easy to squeeze out. I am sure someone may wonder about the texture! With lip oils being right on trend, I’m sure this is exactly what a lot of people are looking for! Very buttery and smooth, not gritty at all. Smells great. Seems to moisturize well, but obviously very different than balms with petroleum or synthetic waxes and polymers, so my best comparison would be to something which is mainly oil based. Honestly, for half an ounce, if you’ve been looking for something like this, I’d go for it! Very portable and hasn’t leaked so far!

I'm feeling conflicted about this product. I do like it—it's lightweight, has a light scent, and is moisturizing. However, it doesn’t stay on my lips for very long. I'm used to thicker chapsticks, so that might just be a matter of personal preference. As soon as you apply it to your lips, it melts effortlessly. Overall, it’s not a bad product, but I won't be repurchasing it.

This is not exactly balm, I would say, I would call it oil. Because of this, it doesn't last as long as balm (which would have additional wax of some kind to give more texture). Even so, I love the smell and it works very well. I got it to keep in my car, hoping that the tube format would be better than regular rollup lip balms that melt in the car. For this purpose, it is excellent! I've had it in my car and I can use it at any time, just being careful if it's warm not to squeeze out too much oil.

It's...just ok. It pretty much melts into your lips with a very thin consistency that just feels like grease. For me personally the moisturization did not last long and I had to either reapply frequently or use it with another lip balm with a wax base, which defeats the purpose. It smells ok but if you accidentally get any in your mouth the taste is horrible! Overall, it seems like an over-priced lip oil that doesn't hold up to other natural products on the market. I won't be purchasing again and can't say I would recommend it.

I heard about this product and decided to try it. I’m 47, rarely wear foundation as I’ve grown to hate it, and prefer simple skin care. My lips get flaky but only enough to make lipstick annoying in summer. Being I only know results for summer- I will update if changes. Right now, my lips are healthy. They feel soft. They feel plump. The product is used with the skin whip so, I’m all over covered. Light and pleasant taste. Great texture. Not greasy but “moist” I hate tacky lips. I hate greasy lips. This feels like natural moisture. I will buy again. The cost is a little high- but a little goes a long way. Don’t goop it. But if you did, it absorbs into your skin and it’s actually healthy. Ok to cover outside lips. I like Amallow a lot. Glad I found. Plan to have my teens use it.
