Good Value High Quality Basket and included T- Adapter
I picked this rack mostly because it came with a bracket to make it compatible with my bike, and it had good reviews. I originally wasn’t going to get the basket, but I decided it was high quality and I might want it later. The basket is well-made, works great, and I realized it makes the rack much more useful. It fits the collapsible grocery bags I already had perfectly. I can also easily carry two locks now. It is set up nice for clip on saddle bags, but I'll probably pass on those since I can throw a backpack in the basket and take it with me when I lock the bike up. It took less than an hour to assemble. It was fairly easy, slight unclear instruction on mounting the to SS rails to the rack and I had a couple of screws and nuts left over, which made me wonder if I missed something. The 50 lb weight limit is fine, since with my weight, that maxes out the limit of my bike. It seems very well made.

Best Bike Modification
I bought the version without a basket as the flatter surface allows for more customization, including making my own basket to fit my specific needs. This thing is an absolute game changer if you're looking to transport anything on a bike. It's highly functional, installs easily, and there's plenty of places to hook bungee cords or tie some string to hold anything down. There is even some convenient spacing between the end rails to fit a few nuts and bolts (with washers) if you wanted to afix a milk crate, a larger flat surface, or anything else really. That seems to be a happy accident versus part of the design, but I'll take the W. I haven't needed to max out the weight rating, but I've easily had anything from 30lbs of weight in a backpack (using some scrap plywood and those nuts and bolts mentioned before) to a few pizza boxes (without any modification) and never lost anything, even on some poorly paved roads. It's been strong and steady for a few years now. I haven't done this yet, but you could easily clip some larger bags to the side, but I'd again suggest some scrap material to keep straps from getting caught in spokes. Instead, I currently have a handle bar bag on one side for roadside repairs plus other small accessories along with a thick cable and my heavy d-locks on the other side (one for my quick release front wheel and one for the bike frame). It only takes losing one bike to take security seriously, even if it's a crappy bike!

Good product, terrible instructions
Good product thus far. Fits my cooler perfectly and seems to be mostly solid for how lightweight it is. Insrallation instructions are horrendous. I basically put it all together and then took it apart and redid it to adjust a few things. 1) my bike frame is wide so I mounted the side attachments on the outside of the top rack, rather than the inside like the instructions show. 2) to make it level, I needed to adjust the 2 pieces that mount to the frame under the seat. Order doesn't really matter, just know that you use the 2 big black screws to attach it to the frame by the wheel. The 4 medium screws attach the side panels to the top panel and the small screws are for everything else. Only use the long silver screw if you need the t bar adapter. That should help. Good luck, and don't let the poor installation I steuctions deter you from buying this product, once it's installed, seems good!

Great quality and function. Buy with confidence.
It attached perfectly. The lower mounting holes on my mountain bike are 5 1/2" apart measured from the outside. I thought they might be too far apart for this to fit properly, and it fit just fine. I bought a second one for my other mountain bike. The rack is designed and built really well. The welds are excellent quality. The basket attachment is just the right size to be practical, and it goes on and off easily with just an allen wrench. It's a very strong rack that's very functional. I highly recommend this rack.

Nice basket
Before you buy make sure your bike has the attachment points. You probably do, but take five minutes to verify. The installation was neither easy or difficult. Give yourself a few hours to dedicate to it. Even if you happen to attach a piece wrong, it's not rocket science to make adjustments.

Sturdy and easy to install
Very easy to install by one person, although an assistant could be helpful for some steps. The necessary tools are included. It comes with a cargo net, but not the one shown in this photo. It feels securely attached and is a comfortable size, big enough to carry things without being cumbersome. I’ve felt comfortable carrying a backpack with my laptop in the basket (with a cargo net to keep it secure).

Low manufacturing tolerances
I love the rack actually and its super close to being 5 stars for me. If you need an affordable permanent rack and basket on your bike (I realized later on the detachable kind would be better suited for me) then this is probably the one. However, I gave it 4 stars because to assemble it to my bike I had to basically bend the frame of the rack so that it would screw in with the other parts. If they had tighter manufacturing tolerances this wouldnt happen but obviously they cut costs somewhere to give you the product value. Regardless, the entire rack (at least on my product) has a bunch of bent up stress because it's being held in a strained position if that makes sense. Also the screw that attaches the "T-bracket" to my bike frame came loose after a month allowing the rack to sway back and fourth a little bit so you might need to tighten that down extra hard not really sure about that. Aside from those two issues it's great. Maybe a little on the heavy end but I've loaded it up considerably with groceries and it holds up great so that weight is justified. To remove it you just need to take off 3 or 4 screws depending on what choice of attachment you used.
