Great egg timer better than a wall clock because it measures the temperature of the water itself. Really simple for young kids, however they tend to lose interest very quickly.... Boiling water can make it difficult to read

Redoing my review because they worked perfectly the first time I used each one. Then they stopped working. The purple color disappeared as we enjoy hard boiled eggs. But the center still had uncooked yolks. Very disappointed.
