Great washcloth but I moved on
I use these for washing dishes now, but I used them in the past as a washcloth and one side is a good scrubber for exfoliating.

I like the Sisal cloth better than wash rag.
I use it to shower with.

great scrub wet or dry
I love this wash cloth. I use it for bathing and dry brushing. It is sturdy and large enough to cover good surface area on ones body. It gives a great scrub, stimulating blood circulation. it also dries well, it does not hold on to water.

Great exfoliating wash cloth
Really like the Sisal wash cloth. It does the job of exfoliating not only face but whole body. I plan to order for my family

The One Washcloth for Me
I've been using these sisal washcloths for years. Initially, it's pretty rough on your skin. Within a few washes, it softens up to be a great exfoliator. One washcloth lasts for months, and it launders very well. I'm sold on them as the only ones for me!

I'll keep coming back for more!
My first experience with a sisal wash cloth was with The Body Shop, but when they no longer stocked it, I came to Amazon. Initially I chose Baudelair sisal wash cloth because it resembled my old sisal cloth. It was about the same size, not too large, and it had the loop for hanging, which I liked. I bought several cloths and gave some away because I wanted my friends to experience the cleansing of a sisal cloth. Everyone liked the cloth. After a few uses, the cloth becomes nice and soft because initially it is a little stiff. The cloth leaves my skin soft and well cleansed. When it was time to reorder, I turned to Amazon and ordered the same cloths. I put my cloth in the washing machine like I would any washcloth and it only gets better until I feel it must be time to discard and begin to use a new one. I really don't know how long I should use the cloth, but I use it until it finally begins to fray, which is after many months. Needless to say, I love this cloth and will continue to reorder this sisal wash cloth although I wish it was a little less expensive.

I like the texture and size.
I have always used loofahs but decided to try sisal since they make the washcloth sizes. These sisal clothes have just enough texture that you really feel the exfoliation of dry skin when showering. My only disappointment is the time I used it to just wash my feet after spending the afternoon on the patio barefoot.I washed it, pre-treated it with stain remover, and then soaked it in Oxy Clean for 3 days. Despite these 3 washings and preps, the washcloth does not come clean. It is still blackish from just plain dirt. Very disappointing. I guess I'll have the only use the 2nd one in the shower! You can't get this dirty like it did because you'll have to throw it out.

Just like the ones from the Body Shop
I too was using the ones from Body Shop, and was looking for substitutes after they discontinued them. I read reviews here, one saying that it's very similar and other saying that it's not. I took my chance and bought it. To me, it feels exactly the same.I used to buy several at a time from Body Shop. When I start using the new one after the previous one starts wearing off, I always thought "Wow, was it this rough?" Over the years, I must've gone through tens of them, and each time, I had the same reaction. So the roughness the other reviewers are talking about may be due to the fact that they've gotten used to the worn out one. The new one feels a little rough anyway. But that's just my take. I'm just glad I didn't have to resort to those horrible plastic ones that feel horrible on my skin or those mitten shaped pads that don't conform to my body contour.
