This product is a skin BRIGHTENER rather than a bleach. My skin has become more even-toned. As a person of mixed race (African American and Russian descent), I tend to tan poorly, and my oily skin often leads to acne, which causes hyperpigmentation. Over time, and with consistent use of this product, an exfoliating rag, and exfoliating face cleansers, I have seen gradual improvement. These are my personal secret: I receive many compliments, and my skin has been clearer than ever. While I still have some hyperpigmentation, it has significantly faded, my tan lines have diminished, and my skin feels well-moisturized. The lather is very foamy, and I love the overall scent. Since I use it on my entire body, I go through five bars in about two months. I preserve them by using a dedicated soap dish or placing them in a plastic container after use. I typically cut the soap in half to make it last longer. I value even, radiant skin, but I never aimed to be white-skinned, as my Blackness is very important to me. I admire seeing dark-skinned women and men with beautiful, even tones, and I aspire to achieve that look. This Koji San soap has been a staple for me since high school. I know it might sound surprising, but I had to stop using it when I couldn't afford it. Now that I’m an adult, I realize clear skin is achievable. It’s a gradual process, but that’s the positive aspect—it allows for steady, natural improvements. This company will get sick of me, before I get sick of them LOL.

This Kojic Acid soap is really good. It makes my skin feel clean, soft, and fresh. I noticed my skin looks brighter after using it. I like the smell and it is gentle on my skin. I will buy it again.

Wonderful product… even tho it’s not for long-term use.. it’s done wonders for my skin.. this product gave me a boost within my skin care… and the smell is fresh and clean and citrusy! Love it!

A lil sensitive but works week

Got rid of all my dark marks , soap lasts a month ,no smell ,don’t irritate my skin

I feel these bars, maybe would work if they didn’t melt so fast they were just too little. You would have to purchase so many in order to see if they really worked…

I have sun damage, so I used this soap to clear the skin from brown spots and blemishes. No irritation and effectiveness is great! The value is great compared to many other products which do not work well.
