The video quality is excellent! Great resolution, clear, bright and easy to see the eardrum with. The scoops are better quality and sturdier than the old bebird ear camera I bought in 2021. I'm so happy with the improvements they made with the new design and it's still an affordable price. My only complaint is the tip of the camera gets very hot after a minute so must use it for short periods at a time. The app works great and it is easy to connect to the device.I was having ear pain for a week. My old bebird camera still worked but I had no scoops left for it and the video quality didn't let me see my eardrums as clear as I wanted too. I bought this new ear camera and instantly could see my ear drums were infected. It gave me the push I needed to go to the doctor sooner rather than later. Turns out I had a sinus infection and ear infections! I'm so happy the camera helped me decide to pursue treatment before it got worse!

The setup was super fast and simple. The camera works great and was able to see I do have redness in an ear. I've used a few tips and the 2 different observation/speculum attachments and they work great. Only downside is that it does get a bit warm after some use, as well as I was sent extra of the plastic tips, but no round tips. Overall good product, and super useful!

I was expecting less for the price, but this is truly a quality product at a great value. The camera is very high quality and shows incredible detail (point of reference, I use a Galaxy S23+) and there is no lag in the video stream to the app. The large variety of tips and speculums are of high manufacturing quality. Some of the negative reviews are horrifying, but I'm glad they did not deter me from trying this thing out. I don't understand how someone could possibly break a tip inside their ear unless they were using far too much force, seriously uncoordinated, or simply being reckless.That said, this is a tool that obviously should be used gently and carefully. Just as you would not ram a Qtip deep inside your ear, don't just shove this (or anything) straight into your body. Practice with the device and try out the different accessories it comes with on the outer ear, nostril, and throat to get comfortable with how to manueuver it via the video feed. When ready to use deeper in the ear, go very slowly, and pay attention to the streaming video as you are moving within the ear. I was able to very clearly see my ear drum and where the tip was moving along the ear canal so that I did not go too far. To get a better camera angle while inside the ear, try pulling down on your ear lobe to open up the ear and rotate the device (without moving deeper) so that the camera has a clear line of sight beyond the tip. The accessories included with the device are designed well and help you accomplish the task. If you can look in a mirror and apply lash mascara without poking your eye, you probably already have the skills and coordination needed to operate this device safely. Just be extra gentle and use common sense, e.g. if you experience any pain or discomfort - stop immediately.I had zero issues downloading the app and connecting to the device's wi-fi signal - it takes about 60 seconds and should be easy for anyone familiar with smart devices generally. The app is very basic and simply functions to receive the live video feed from the device wirelessly (which it does very well) and if desired, to capture photos/video. Nothing more, nothing less. If you need detailed step-by-step instructions on how to use a device like this, or are expecting health education resources to guide you through what you are observing with the camera, the app will not suit your needs.I highly recommend this product.
