Nice size
I like that you can make this smaller or larger by adding or removing pieces. It works great for my need because I just needed to make a circle. I have not tried to hula hoop with it. Might throw out a hip😆 It seems like it would fall apart if I tried to?

On second thought??
I should have returned it...It doesn't fit together. I will GLUE it or something and it is not easy to get into circle also could NOT get the last segment to fit. SO you cannot take it apart again with EASE. It is also TOO big for kids under IDK just too big. I didn't buy it for a hula hoop so it will work. It is way overpriced even if less than other hoops. If you want to glue it and keep it as a hoop and you are a teen or older?? I bought it for martial arts it will work for what I NEED but annoyed as not sure it will fit in a FIAT!!!!

Not as a hula hoop
Using this as a practi e hoop for my son and soccer. Placed all pieces together and put it on the ground. He then has to keep the ball in the circle without letting it go out. As he learns more control of the ball we will slowly shrink the circle. Very good for this on top of a hula hoop

Ok
So far so good but it was hard to get it out together, but once I did it works well for an adult, it’s too big for most kids. It’s not as big in diameter as advertised. So taking stars off for that and the difficultly in assembly

Easier for those who are larger and trying to learn
This has a larger diameter and if you're older and/or .. ahem.. bigger (like me) it makes learning to hula hoop much easier. I got two hula hoops at the same and this is the larger of the two. I can definitely get more loops around my waste before it hits the ground. I'm still learning but a little bit of success, makes it a lot more fun. The colors are and ease of transport-ability because it comes apart are just a bonus for me.

Very Cheaply Made Hula Hoop
This is one of those times you get what you pay for unfortunately. The pieces are a bit difficult to hook together and I struggled with the final piece. The hoop itself was a bit weird shaped and not perfectly round- this was because of the curve of each section is a bit more curved than it needs to be to form a circle of the size with all of the pieces put together.Anyhow, I shrugged those things off and tried to use the hoop. It came apart instantly. Not even one revolution and it broke apart. I put it back together thinking perhaps I didn't snap it together very well. Tried again, it fell apart AGAIN in the same place. I looked at the place where one piece slips in to the other and it looks like it was caved in and bent so the nub was no longer sticking out to 'lock' the piece. So to fix that I have taped each section together. I haven't tried hooping with it yet and I am hoping it works. I am new to hula hooping and wanted to try it before investing in a good hoop. But really this hoop is seriously cheap. It is even cheap compared to the ones for kids that you get in the store- actually I think those hoops would be better. The only downfall is those hoops are smaller in diameter and the hoop is thinner.Sadly, I JUST now read the reviews on this hoop. It seems like lots of others have had the same issues I had. Seriously, this isn't a good purchase, I really am sorry to say it but it isn't.

Not worth it.
Some pieces were easy to assemble, some were not. Connected, the circle was more of an ellipse. It would not lay flat on the floor and would not form a circle. There is no way one could hula hoop with that shape! We tried it with fewer pieces, to no avail. It’s cheap plastic. Was not worth the effort to return. And it had to go into the landfill! Not made of recycleable plastic. Avoid this product.
