Works on my 11yo braces. He has been having bad mouth sores since he got his braces. This is better than wax because it stays on, the only problem is, he has to take it out to eat and he had a little lisp when he talks, but at least he isnt in pain anymore.

These were such a game changer. I have had my braces on for a little over a week and my mouth is so cut up and rough from the rubbing of my brackets. I got these, easy to apply, and OMG! I have so much relief in my mouth now. I don't even feel like I have braces on anymore. So much better than wax and they stay in place. Perfect fit for my mouth. Worth every penny!! Thank you for finally helping me find some relief from the pain I have been in.

Really good concept however even after you cut it to fit your mouth the pieces don’t stay in place like you need them to. It allowed the cuts I had to heal but I wrestled with it the entire day. It’s very easy to use and if it stayed in place it would also be comfortable. It’s kind of thick so it feels like extra in your mouth on top of the braces. If it stayed in place like the video I would give it 5 starts. For what I paid it for what I needed it to do protect my cheeks from the wire cutting it up so I won’t say I wasted my money.

I found the Comfort Cover for Braces Lip Protector disappointing because of its poor fit. Despite its promising comfort benefits, it didn't stay securely in place and even hurt my gum, which compromised its effectiveness. This is clearly not one size fit all so I kinda understand. It's unfortunate as I had hoped for better comfort with my braces.

I bought this as an alternative to a similar product offered by another company, whose design is more like a U shape that goes over the brackets. This product's method of "clipping" onto the wire seems like a great idea, but just didn't work very well for my braces. I have wire ties between some of the brackets, and these ties interfere with the product clipping on to the wire so they're consistently feeling loose. That being said, they are comfortable, and for those parts of the braces that don't have the wire ties, they seem to clip quickly and securely. They do feel less bulky than the other product. So hopefully they work well for you, just didn't work so well for me. I also think they would interfere less with elastics on the hooks than the other brand, because they don't cover up the hooks, which could be good or bad, if the hooks are what are causing irritation.

I could see how these don’t work for some people. My teeth aren’t horribly crooked so these clipped on perfect. I got them specifically to wear at night as I sleep on my side and my cheek presses into the braces which causes lots of pain come morning. They do obviously cause your lips to be pushed out but to wear at home it’s perfect. Also come with a nice case

Awful design. Doesn’t fit at all, it’s so short it wouldn’t cover to the back of a toddlers mouth. Waste of money.

I was excited to buy this product as an alternative to dental wax which I use with my braces and which is typically a messy nuisance. I’m really glad I bought this! It fits a bit thicker than the wax but wasn’t hard to get used to and the main thing is that it’s easy and quick to apply and clean and easy to reuse as needed. I mainly plan to use it at night to give my mouth a chance to recover. The main drawback is that it’s not 100% well fitted if you have to wear bulky elastics as well. All in all I wish I bought this a year ago when I first got my braces!
