Shore Lunch Fish Breading Batter Mix, Cajun Style, Pack of 3

I bought it to make fried gator bites. Plenty of mild heat. Definitely a bit of heat spice but not too much. I don't like strong heat, this is just enough to notice. You can always bump it up with cayenne if you like more or strong heat. I made it on chicken as well and it tasted great. If you fry or air fry and like a liitle spice in the coating, this is fantastic. I will keep it as staple. It also come at a great price shipped to my door.I used it with a hot pepper marinade on my gator bites and between the marinade and this coating it was a little spicier than I like. But friends that love a great cajun taste will love it. The coating has enough spice by itself as I found out on my buttermilk marinaded chicken.

I’ve been adding this to the corn starch for breading bang-bang shrimp. It’s also very finely ground, so it works great!

Saw this batter on a fishing YouTube channel and couldn’t find it anywhere in stores in Southern California. I should’ve known Amazon would have it!I’ve battered basic white fish (talapia, swai, etc), salmon, and catfish. All of which have come out delicious! I’ve deep fried and air fried the fish using the batter (deep frying being the best of course).I like the batter because you can just drop the fish directly into it and can skip using the egg (found this out from the YouTube channel).The batter has a nice texture, great taste, and adds a little kick (I always include a little extra Cajun or spice to mine).

I used it fry fish, mushroom and deer strap. All good.

If you haven’t tried this fish batter you owe it to yourself to give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. Also Amazon’s price is better than Bass Pro or Cabelas.

This is the only brand that I buy for frying fish. Awesome spicy taste

I've been using this batter mix for years as a coating for Frying Fish and Shrimp. It might be a little too spicy for some tastes, but after all it is Cajun flavor.
