I want to know if the inside of the lid detaches for cleaning? To ask a different way, does the metal inside of the top of the machine come off ?

Can you please advise what the non-stick pan is coated with please. Is it teflon?

It is a non stick Titanium coating. It is absolutely NOT harmful, as Titanium is used in medical practice. It is a very tough and hard surface. The rice or other dishes will not burn at the bottom.

Is the bowl dishwasher-safe?

Yes, it is dishwasher safe, but we recommend to wash it by hand. As the surface could be attacked by the salt which is contained in the dishwasher tabs.
