Monstrum Raven SRS Red Dot with 45 Degree Canted Picatinny Mount

80 bucks, you get not only the red dot but the 45 degree picatiny attachment. It’s a good, easy to see red dot with good MOA adjustments. LIFETIME warranty and clean glass. You can’t beat it for 80 bucks. Like I say Buy once, have a lifetime warranty and keep her goin. Better than buying 350 dollar sight, it going out on you after a little bit and having to spend another 350 for a new sight. Buy once and cry never cause this is as good as it gets for the money. Easily competes with my sigs and vortex.

I bought this off set RDS to run next to my Monstrum LPVO. It works great and have had zero issues so far. Zeroed 3 shot groups touching at CQB distances. I run it on my patrol rifle. Will purchase another to run on my "truck" rifle.

Did not get the 45degree mount or the red dot, very misleading I guess. But I do like their flashlights and rifle mounts, but, I think that’s where it stops for me

It fits my needs for a simple close quarter optic to back up my LPVO. The reviewers who complained that the optic has to be removed to change the battery are just being silly. Ever pick fly poop out of pepper?

Okay so for starters, this is a pretty good red dot. It has a nice MOA factor of three, however the only downside I can see right off the bat, is that they put the battery compartment on the bottom of the red dot. Yes I said that right the battery is on the bottom of the red dot. So every time you need to change out the battery, you need to take the Red Dot off to change out the battery and then put the Red Dot back on and then you have to re-zero the DOT. Not the best idea monstrum has had. But for the price point, I'm not going to complain too much about that. It works wonderfully and maintains zero just fine. And for a backup cantilever site, I'll take it!

The Monstrum Raven Red Dot appears to be well made. The red dot is clearly visible in the various lighting conditions. I like the shake awake feature and it works as it should, however I wish the sleep mode was just a few minutes rather than 1 hour. The only reason I took off a star was because the control buttons are very hard to operate and a great deal of pressure must be exerted in exactly the right spot to get the function to work. I'm not sure if this is typical of this particular red dot or I just got a faulty unit.

A simple reed dot that works at a reasonable price. If you need a canted mount red dot it would be hard to beat this one for the cost and durable and basic functionality.

Monstrum as a whole has always been a great product. Even if there is an issue they are always right on with customer service.
