NZXT doesn't miss
I've always been a huge fan of NZXT to the point that I chose to have my PC built in 2019 by them. I've been upgrading that PC recently and saw that the function 2 keyboard was finally on sale. Personally I love the minimal look to it as well as how the keys feel when I type. I previously used a full mechanical keyboard and wasn't a fan of the loud noise it made from a simple key stroke. The NZXT f2 has a unique sound to me and the quality feels much better than I anticipated. I'm not a huge macro or key mapping guy but this seems to have a healthy bit of that in the CAM Software. I love the fact that unlike other keyboards I've used in the past. This one doesn't have a pocket for trash to find it's way into in between the keys. It's more or less just a flat white board that does an amazing job at bouncing light off of it to create smooth gradients in the RGB. If I had to toss out a complaint it's that the RGB aren't as customizable as your PC case lights using the nzxt connectors. It's mainly different variations of rainbow with some not so satisfying key press effects. It connects via a USB c to USB A connector, nothing too fancy there though I wish it would've been just type c to type c for consistency.

Affordable Customization and Comfort
The NZXT Function Mechanical Keyboard is a great choice for those who want a high-quality keyboard without breaking the bank. With MX compatible 5-pin hot-swappable sockets, this keyboard offers a level of customization that is not commonly found at this price point. Additionally, the standard bottom row design makes it easy to replace keycaps and enhance the keyboard's aesthetics.Despite its affordable price, the NZXT Function Mechanical Keyboard does not compromise on design or functionality. The durable aluminum top plate and low-profile minimalist design give the keyboard a sleek and professional look. The per-key RGB lighting is easy to customize through the CAM-powered software, providing a variety of lighting effects to match your personal preferences. The magnetic wrist rest is a standout feature, providing a comfortable typing experience during extended gaming sessions. The keyboard also includes a volume wheel and mute button on the left-hand side for easy access to essential controls.Overall, the NZXT Function Mechanical Keyboard offers excellent value for its price. While it may not have all the features of higher-end mechanical keyboards, it still provides a great typing experience with a level of customization that is hard to find at this price point. If you are looking for a budget-friendly mechanical keyboard with solid build quality, the NZXT Function Mechanical Keyboard is definitely worth considering.

Perfect fit for my all white build.
Love how good it looks. Plenty of interchangeable spare keys. Minus one star because I needed them immediately when the space bar started sticking every time I clicked it. Easy fix and again it came with absolutely everything I needed and would need well into the future it’s not very loud at all. Just feels clean and very well put together

If you have an NZXT PC, the peripherals are a no brainer.
Yes, it's expensive, but if you get one, you'll quickly understand that the cost is definitely worth it. As far as keyboards go, this is top of the line in form and function. With NZXT Cam software, which is already integrated in NZXT machines, it's seamless. Infinitely customizable. I'm considering updating all my peripherals to match, it's that convincing. I cannot speak to longevity, but if you're a gamer and replacing things here and there, this shouldn't be too much of a factor. I hope it lasts though, because it is absolutely fantastic feeling. Nice smooth and clicky keystrokes if that's a factor. Even the sensitivity is adjustable. Love the magnetic wrist support as well. A+ all around. If I have to give a negative, it's a bit large in footprint. Also it's high even at base height, so if you have an under-desk keyboard tray, it may be uncomfortable. I had to adjust my set up.

This keyboard is something else... (In a good way!)
This keyboard is nice and heavy, well-built, easy to use and configure. It's well worth it's price. I've had a bunch of Cosairs different versions and they're flimsy. You'd never expect it for the price you pay.If you're a gamer and want a decent keyboard you can select the response time in the app also has a short linear travel distance for great PvP movement. Comes with a magnetic wrist rest and can be removed, if you so choose.

Fit the need well
I got this cheap, like $50 on sale, I think it’s a good value for that. Keys can be set super sensitive and it not too loud.Really like that “windows button lock” for accidently hitting it while gaming, also like the manual volume knob. Has a few extra F keys (f13 &14 ) which I use to stream or interact with discord.Switched to this to avoid wireless lag in a nice Logitech keyboard I use connected to 3 devices, I really only use this for gaming and a full sized one for productivity.

Excellent
Obviously I am writing this review with this keyboard and it feel so nice to type on. I was using a Microsoft Sidewinder for the last 10+ years and this one is a world of difference. If like me you like the tactile experience of typing on mechanical keys, this one feels great. The caps have a very slight matte feel to them and the ability to customize your color is a must for me because I hate being blinded by rainbow RBG cascades. you can change the intensity of the light with a dedicated button on the side as well as a volume scroll wheel which is much easier than fumbling for the controls on my headset. There is also a lock which disables the Windows key, handy if you are a button masher in times of frenetic game play. The removable magnetic wrist rest feels great and the magnetic attachment holds it in place well. the extra caps and switches are nice, but I will be surprised if I ever need them. if, you like matte black this is the keyboard for you. The only thing I miss from my old keyboard is the dedicated media controls. I have always like NZXT products and this one feels great in every regard.
