Official Creality Filament Dryer, Space Pi

This thing is fancy. The Creality Space Pi X4 Filament Dryer absolutely gets the job done and has quickly become one of those accessories I don’t want to print without anymore. If you print with engineering materials, PETG, nylon, carbon fiber blends, glass fiber blends, TPU, or live in a humid area, this is honestly a must-have. Being able to dry and store up to four spools at once makes a huge difference when working with moisture-sensitive filaments, especially during longer print projects or multi-color setups. The controls are easy to use, it heats evenly, and I noticed immediate improvements in print quality, extrusion consistency, and surface finish after properly drying filament. Stringing and popping from moisture were dramatically reduced. It also pairs really well with multi-material systems like the ACE Pro units on my Anycubic Kobra S1 Combo printers. Yes, it’s a bit pricey compared to simpler dryers, but the build quality, capacity, and convenience make it feel like a much more premium product. For serious 3D printing, especially with advanced materials, it’s worth the investment.

I picked this up to use alongside my Bambu Lab A1, and it has been a complete game changer for my print quality. If you live in a humid area, you know how quickly filament can soak up moisture and ruin a project. This dryer has solved that issue for me. Capacity and Performance The ability to hold 4 spools at once is the standout feature here. I usually put my filament in about eight hours before I start a print, and the difference in the final result is night and day. It significantly reduces stringing and helps with those tricky first-layer adhesion issues that moisture-heavy filament causes. Technical Specs and Heating The 85°C max temperature is impressive. Most consumer dryers stop around 70°C, but this one has the extra overhead needed for engineering materials like PAHT, PC, and ASA. The dual independent heating chambers are another huge plus, as they allow you to dry two different types of filament at different temperatures simultaneously. Efficiency and Design The touchscreen interface is responsive and much better than the clunky buttons found on older models. I also appreciate the power-saving mode where you can run a single chamber if you only have one or two spools to dry. It feels well-insulated and the 360° hot air circulation ensures the entire spool is dried evenly. Pros: Massive 4-spool capacity. Reaches 85°C for high-temp engineering filaments. Independent temperature controls for each side. Built-in active dehumidification and desiccant regeneration. Cons: It takes up a decent amount of desk space. The completion beep can be a bit loud. Final Verdict: If you are serious about 3D printing and tired of dealing with moisture-related failures, this is a must-have. It is a reliable, high-capacity tool that has noticeably improved every print coming off my A1.

So far I have used for several prints and dried several old spools of filament. This works perfect and happy I got it! I did have a few small problems but I don’t lnow what the cause was. Only 2 spools have done this but they stuck to the other filament causing prints to fail. I left the temp as set by thr manufacturer to dry but maybe it was too long at 14-24 hours? Default for PETG is 65c at 24 hours. I managed to save 1 full spool and got some off the other but was a pain. No other spool had done this either. I run all PETG and zero issues since. The lcd looks nice and is black background with white text. Perfect contrast this way making it easier to see instead of old lcd where it’s white background and black text. Good quality build too. I would only wish they made 2 small changes. Better latches on the lids and put ability to use threaded quick releases for the ptfe tubes. Occasionally when my printer retracts after a print it would shove the filament tube inside farther up to 3 inches. Glad I got this. Able to save some of my old filament.

I do not own a Creality printer but since I started 3D printing I’ve found that Creality products have all been really reliable, filament, glue, Maintenence accessories, and now filament dryers. I’m super happy with how great the quality is. My prints immediately are a night and day difference. The best filament Dryer I own by far. The interior lights look nice and it heats up so fast. It’s my new favorite 3D printing accessory and on top of all of that, great customer service!

This works great for drying filament. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that the menu is a little clunky. I wish it offered an individual screen for each chamber, or a wider screen with separate controls for each shown at once. As it is you have to swap between the two sides. After use, filaments have better print quality, and easier adhesion. So far using directly out of the unit has not caused any tangles. I like the color of the unit, as it matches the CC2 printer very well.

Works great and is very low profile! Feeding any solid filament direct to the printer is easy, but will most likely require additional PTFE tubing to keep it enclosed. TPU still needs to be dried and then direct fed to the extruder as the PTFE tubing causes too much friction, but overall solid product. Fits any standard spool size. Temperature and Humidity levels are stable.

Really good dryer. It has a variety of settings and seems to work really well. I've been throwing a few spools in there over the past few weeks that needed drying and after a 4-8 hour dry the PLA worked great after. No popping anymore, better adhesion and print quality. Overall it just made the filament perform well. Obviously this doesn't help much if the filament doesn't need dried, but when it does, this thing works great. I will say I had issues printing directly from it, but that's likely more of a "I don't want to tinker that much" problem on my end and not the dryer. Overall I'd recommend it for sure.

What a great purchase!! works great!! does exactly what it says to the point i have to admit its absolutely boring.. you press the buttons, choose, and it just works. No muss no fuss it just works.

Very good and a fair price when on sale. I like that it has dual chambers for different temperatures and different types of filament. The noise level is OK—not too loud, but not exactly quiet either. The automatic door that lets the moisture out seems to be time-programmed rather than actually detecting when there is too much moisture inside. It seems like every 20 minutes it opens to release the moisture while heating the filament. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.
