Lift Attic Ladder Safety Railing VR-60

We installed the Versa Lift Attic Ladder Safety Railing around the top of the ladder to our attic. Now it's much easier and safer getting in and out of the attic. The Versa Lift Attic Ladder Safety Railing is made out of strong sturdy material and appears to be of excellent quality. All parts were packed in a safe and secure way. The instructions and illustrations were very helpful and clear. The Versa Lift Attic Ladder Safety Railing is a must addition to every house.

A bit pricey but worth it if you consider the effect of falling 9 feet onto a concrete floor. When you open the package you'll see that it is probably priced correctly. It is clearly heavy duty. The packing is excellent with each piece of steel individually wrapped in plastic and secured to heavy cardboard sheet. The items are nicely painted and all holes are pre-drilled. Extra mounting hardware is included which helps if you assembling it in a poorly lit attic. The instructions are excellent. Assembly is easy. Once installed it makes entering and exiting the attic safe and easy with no reaching for attic rafters. Peace of mind alone is worth the cost.

I installed this railing easily. It is secure and is a great confidence builder in my tight attic. The Versa Lift Attic Ladder Safety Railing came on time, extremely well packaged, and with clear simple instructions. This is easily a one-person job. If I need to bring in a large object too big to get past the Versa Lift, I can easily remove either or both railings without affecting the screws securing it to the attic joists. The Versa Lift design is remarkably thought out. Great product.I am 69 years old. I do not have a problem going into or out of my attic yet. But as I get older I may need more security. So I installed the Versa Lift as a preventive measure.However, I find it so useful and convenient, I recommend it for everyone regardless your sure footedness.

I think it could 2 more side bars going to the floor but I guess it’s sturdy enough

I bought this a few months ago because I found it impossible to get up to my attic with my fear of heights. My husband installed it, taking about 4 hours. It is sturdy, easy to grab and fits my standard folding ladder stairs. Now I feel safe and can get things out of the attic without being dependent on others. Such a relief! It was worth the cost.

I had got to the point where going up into the attic made me feel very insecure...this safety rail has changed that feeling...I am secure and safe as I take hold of the rail whether going up or down...the picture and written description on Amazon was accurate and the installation simple...would suggest that having someone present and lending a balancing and helping hand to screw down is a good idea...can't understand why I didn't install this years ago.

Medium duty safety rail but wasn't as heavy duty as I thought it would be for $300. I think it's way overpriced but it is a pretty good product.It's not strong enough to withstand somebody falling into it as it would collapse. The instructions are in teeny tiny print and difficult to follow. I was surprised that flat washers are not required under the lock washers so I supplied my own. A decent product but not as strong as I thought and way overpriced.

Excellent safety rail. Slender enough not to get in the way, but sturdy enough to act as a barrier around the open hole in the attic floor. The safety rail is adjustable and fits our attic door nicely. Shipping was fast, assembly was straightforward and installation was easy with a good drill. It is especially nice to hold onto the vertical rail when starting to back down the stairs. I recommend it highly; only wish we had bought it sooner
