We’ve been using the Nanit Travel Light Bundle for a week now, and honestly, I wish we had gotten it sooner. We travel pretty often to visit family and needed something reliable but easy to set up—and this bundle nails it.The camera quality is amazing (way better than our old monitor), and I love being able to check in on our baby from my phone no matter where I am. The flex stand is super convenient—no need to mount anything, just place it next to the crib or pack ’n play and you’re good to go. Perfect for hotel stays or grandma’s house.The sound machine and night light are nice extras we didn’t think we’d use much, but now we rely on them every night. The Nanit monitor is a must have for new parents! The feature that allows for the baby’s breathing to be monitored is unparalleled in this market. I was able to sleep because I always knew my baby was breathing. Now pregnant with our second child, we will continue to use the monitor for our toddler and the newborn as split screen is a great option in their app to simultaneously view both children’s rooms. Nanit is a no-brained!

This monitor brought us so much peace of mind. Great features, easy to use, and just helped us feel so much calmer with the newborn anxiety. We still use it as our monitor with our 2.5 year old and bring it on every trip. It travels well, has been sturdy and we are so glad we got it.

BLUF: Functionality is great but camera frequently disconnects, making the system totally useless and customer service response to issues is dreadfully slow.Pros: The camera system is fantastic when it works. The image is clear and the audio comes through nicely. There isn’t nearly as much of a delay as I thought there would be with the WiFi-based system either. The app is well-designed and easy to use. The notification system for sounds and movement also works well.Cons: The system only works about 70% of the time. The camera frequently struggles to connect when opening the app or is extremely delayed in connecting. This obviously causes concern that the notification system isn’t working correctly when not actively monitoring the app. There is also a common problem where the camera totally disconnects from the app and you can’t reconnect it. This has been an issue for months but Nanit has failed to offer an actual solution. We lost use of the camera for over a month because it would not connect. Also, the base and camera do not properly connect, making the camera fall off the base easily. This system is extremely expensive. Based on the issues I’ve had and the price, I would not recommend this product. If Nanit’s customer service was more responsive it would probably change my opinion. However, I submitted multiple customer service requests over the disconnection issues and it took weeks for a response. The response I received was generic and instructed me to try techniques I had already tried (and explained that I had tried in my service request).Again, the camera system works great, when it works. The main issue is I feel uncomfortable depending on the system when it comes to the safety of my child.

Was initially sent a monitor with faulty temperature and humidity sensor, after some back-and-forth Nanit sent a new one (unfortunately the back and forth with CS was not smooth, but ultimately Nanit did sent me the replacement part which was after the warranty according to Amazon which I will give them full credit for and I appreciate).I will take away one star based on purely the product the flex stand is very wobbly and the camera can just fall off. There are aftermarket accessories to fix this but considering the price this should really be changed. For the camera to work well I think you need a top down view and some of the modes require this. Overall the picture quality is good and I think that’s worth it. We have bought breathing trackers and I will be testing that soon.

I gifted this baby monitor at a baby shower, and the parents have expressed their thanks multiple times. It allows them to easily monitor baby in his room, giving them peace of mind without having to visit him or disturb him.

This is a fantastic camera and system. The image is clear, the functionality is excellent, and the capabilities are innovative. The components in this bundle are also loved. However, the connection from the camera to the stand is completely garbage. I do not know how the design/engineering team did not realize that the two pieces do not create a mechanical connection. The camera merely just sits on the stand. If you move the camera too much, it will fall off the stand. Even if you try to tilt the stand to get a better angle, the camera often falls off. There is nothing but gravity holding it together, which is horrible for a tilt-able stand. If you decide to go this route, I would look into a different stand.
