The tamper is cheap and it has no cover, I'm prepared that this machine might not last very long but for the money it was a great bargain and I'm okay with it. This is an excellent beginner machine. I fear I may not have it for many years, but who knows, this remains to be seen! It runs well for now, and this is the reason I give it 5 stars. It can even be used to make tea! I love the versatility and utility of this machine.

The pressure looks normal on the machine but the grounds are super soggy after brewing either a single or double shot. It makes a terrible mess when attempting to empty the grounds. This has never happened on cheaper machines we owned. I also do not like all of the plastic in the brew basket. This seems cheap and I do not want plastic leaching into my coffee daily. I don’t like this at all and I will be returning it. Too bad since the espresso is really good. Update, I ordered and tested another brand, $100 more, with great ratings. The more expensive machine could not create any crema after multiple attempts. I am keeping Kolos!!! It produces great crema every time, even with already ground espresso. It heats up fast and is super easy to use. I also had a great experience with their customer support when I was inquiring about aftermarket 51 mm baskets. They were prompt and helpful. This was a great deal!!

This makes the best coffee. I've tried cheep expresso machines like MR coffee and it does better than regular coffee machines cause its all about the heat the extract the good stuff from the coffee bean... but this machine is a whole new level of yummy goodness! Now I use this I am never going back to cheaper machines like mr coffee. I favor my coffee black Americano but I make double shot expressos too for treats with half and half steamed. only one thing I would like them to change is use a non skid matt where the put the glass carafe. Sometimes the vibration can be intense and it starts to slide out of alignment. maybe only once or twice this has happened (rare) and I lose a tiny bit of coffee as one of the two streams leaks over a side near the end of brew ok detect 1 start but still amazing machine!

I took this machine to Vietnam and used it for a year. Because I live next to the beach, the weather is very humid. Most of the machines I brought over eventually broke, and this espresso machine was no exception. The O-ring failed (it requires replacement every 6 months). However, I called KOIOS customer service; they were very helpful and sent me a replacement machine.

It's working very well. Im like the speed of brew doesn't take long to brew my coffee. Good temperature and easy to clean up. Worth my money 😁

Returned after 2 uses. Worked the first time, but kept exploding afterwards
