Good quality, heavy duty, correct size. Strong enough to use for backpacks and dog leases. Some of the joint areas are a little rough, but doesn't affect usage.

These are great for use with leather belt keepers!!! I am in law enforcement and I bought suspenders to carry the weight of my duty belt. The only problem was the velcro belt keepers/attachments. Just impossible to get those on after the inner and outer belt. With these ‘D’ rings I just use the leather belt keepers I’ve always used. Perfect size (1 inch) and very heavy duty!

I used the buckle on a dog collar. And the dog broke it very easily, it is definitely not suitable for this type of application.
