The brush end of this makes application of the Boldify root cover very easy and natural looking.

Perfect companion product
I've been using the boldify powder for about a year with just the sponge applicator it comes with in the package. It was frustrating to me. This brush fills in much nicer. Imo if you are buying boldify powder you should just get this too.

Original applicator covers better but needs more accuracy!
Application of the boldify powder doesn't transfer to my hair like it does with the original sponge puff - the coverage just isn't as good for some reason so I'm back to using the original puff provided in the canister :*( Sad because I need to get a more accurate application LOL otherwise I look a bit bruised! Will keep trying and if I figure it out, will change my stars!

Paint on hair fibers!
My hair is thin and fine. I use fibers to camouflage areas where my scalp shows. Applying the hair fiber to my hair by shaking the bottle contents onto my scalp can be very messy. The brush/sponge allows to control where the hair fibers go. More fibers on my hair and less fibers on the sink or bathroom counter.
