- SUSTAINABILITY: DIN13432 certified compostable bio carton lids, with an inner coating made of starch-based bioplastics PLA, free of petroleum-based plastic, biodegradable and recyclable. The cup lids are made of unbleached brown kraft carton, made of wood from certified forestry.
- BIO MEMBRANE LIDS: The membrane lids for the EFA cups are made of sturdy cardboard. Due to the special perforation of the lid the steam can escape after the cups have been filled with hot meals, so that no excess pressure can be created and the cup closes reliably. If the closed cups topple, the vents close independently so that no soup or similar runs out. The lids are in a neutral brown and unprinted.
- USE: The Bio disposable membrane lid for our EFA "One for All" food cups are perfect for use in the Takeaway / To Go gastronomy, for soups and stews as well as for cold dishes such as salad bowls or as disposable ice-cream cups. Private households can use the EFA membrane lids to store self-made ice cream in the freezer. The cups matching the lids are available separately.

The brown membrane carton lids made of kraft carton for our EFA cups are a sustainable solution if you are looking for environmentally friendly disposable cups for soups, stews and other hot foods, or for cold or even frozen foods such as Ice cream. Due to the perforation of the lid, the steam can escape even when the cup is closed so that no overpressure is produced inside the cup. When the closed cup with the membrane lid flips once, the lid closes automatically by the pressure of the filling against it. Also as ice cream cups for the out-of-house sale of ice portions in the Ben & Jerry's style, the cups are excellent. Due to the internal coating of the cup lid made of petrol-free bioplastics, the membrane lids can be recycled and are completely biodegradable / compostable acc. DIN13432.
