The dragon lighters collection is created using Zippo's various imprint methods; color image, laser engrave, deep carve, fancy fill and emblem attachments. These unique designs have been placed on several differed lighter cases; Black Matte, Brushed Chrome, High Polish Chrome, High Polish Brass, and Black Ice. Each lighter has a bottom stamp signifying the year it was made, is refillable, and is backed by Zippo's lifetime guarantee. All windproof lighters are American made in our Bradford, PA factory and come packaged in a gift box.

C'mon Zippo... you guys are supposed to be so much better than this!
I thought this was a cool design - so I added it to my order as a surprise for my husband. He absolutely loved it - which made it suck all the more the dragon's head fell off in less than a week. I looked back through the reviews and found repeated complaints of the same problem.I thought I was buying a nice, solid lighter. This is what I get from the renowned Zippo brand? For about $10 less I also bought a lift-arm lighter for myself on the same Amazon order from a company I'd never heard of before. It has a really nice weight, is quite solidly built, and the inside compartment even has a seal that keeps the fluid from evaporating every few days. (Since the description called it a "Lift Arm Oil Petrol Lighter" I'm pretty sure "Made in the USA" isn't a selling point they'd claim.)Our expectation is that if we will pay a bit more for a US made product, we'll be rewarded with quality craftsmanship and be proud that we supported an iconic American company. You're supposed to be better than this, Zippo - it's obvious you spent far more on the gift box than you did on the cheap glue holding the emblem on.I gave this two stars because even though it didn't hold together for a week - my husband *really* likes the dragon motif, enough he'd rather try to repair it than return it for a refund.

It's a Zippo with a cool design
My son who's only 14 decided he wanted a Zippo. Hopefully he doesn't become an pyro or a cigarette smoker but now that he owns it, it's funny how often it comes in handy. Truth be told, it was mostly the 4th of July. Fireworks being illegal in Illinois, I can only confirm we lit a bunch of punks and sparklers. But I digress...He likes to flick the thing open and closed and that has caused some of the brass to stay somewhat shinier where his fingers regularly come into contact for said flipping activities, which at 14 years old happens often enough Zippo may want to hire him for QC. He doesn't like this discoloration, but I could care less. It is brass and brass oxidizes so not much of a surprise for me. However, perhaps something you may want to consider, especially if someone is using it like a fidget spinner (Are those still a thing?). The dragon is pretty awesome looking. It's stamped so it is not just inked on.

Not etched but a sticker
When I ordered this lighter I read the questions and answers first. Each time someone ask if the dragon was etched into the lighter they were told it was. I got my lighter a few minutes ago and found that was a lie. As you can see in the picture the dragon is not etched it's a sticker. Very disappointed.

Was good. Needs stronger glue.
I bought this for my husband for our 5 year anniversary. He absolutely loved it. It doesnt seem to leak at all. Functional and durable. I definitely recommend this lighter♡EDIT, for whatever reason my previous review says its hidden because of a sensitivity filter? So are most of my five star reviews? But I thought to add, despite noone supposedly being able to read this, the lighter broke after 6 months of very light use. My husband has a large lighter collection so as he rotates he only uses one lighter maybe a week out of every few months. Looks like the glue gave out and we are willing to try and repair it. But it's a heads up the durability I mentioned before wasnt all I had thought.

Disappointed by this model
Zippo Fire Breathing Dragon Emblem Brushed Chrome Pocket Lighter We are regular customers of Zippo. And they were surprised by the quality of the lighters. After a couple of days, the top part of the lighter fell. As it turned out, it is sealed, and not soldered, as is usually the case with Zippo lighters.Disappointed by this model.

Non Standard Size
The base of the lighter and associated insert are not standard classic, they are slightly shorter (likely to accommodate the design). As a result the lighter provides a shorter than normal 'guts' of the lighter to allow smooth operation. If you need to change out the guts either for a new one or another insert such as the Zippo Brand Butane, then it will not open/close smoothly. I could understand if I had an off brand insert, but I specifically bought the branded one (B07XSPY5DK) assuming it would fit.If you want a shelf piece, its gorgeous. If you actually wanted to use this lighter, then you may be disappointed.

AMERICAN LEGAND
I've been a advid ZIPPO user and collector for many years. I was a diehard skiier only time to smoke on a mountain is on the chair lift ONLY lighter to light a ciggarete on a lift is unquestonably a ZIPPO . BEWARE although ZIPPO is pattened it is often duplicated there is a tremendious differance in the ripoff lighters circulating . During WWII american service men were issued ZIPPO lighters as part of there eqipment package . They are an american icon to be respected be you a smoker or not............

good fire ... poor build
The lighter is fine. It is a zippo :)BUT .. The quality of the dragon design is poor. The color on the design started to rub off after only two weeks of usage. You can see it clearly in the dragon chin hair

Not up to Zippo standards, broke within a few weeks!
I bought this as a gift for my father who is a smoker, however, within only a few weeks of owning it, the dragon top half (the piece glued to the lid) fell off which from looking at other reviews, this is pretty standard. I would avoid this Zippo lighter, it's really not up to the standard quality of Zippo.Zippo like to boast about their 'lifetime guarantee' which does apply to this lighter, however, you'll have to pay for it which sucks. This lighter now sits broken in a drawer which is a shame. It does look lovely, the design is great and looks wicked, it's just not worth buying unless you're a collector and will end up keeping it in a display unit where it cannot break.

I had two and they both fell apart
**original review** Bought for my husbands birthday. I can’t grumble at all. Bought it with a zippo kit so he could use it right away**EDIT** I wouldnt recommend anyone to buy this lighter unless you are a collector and aren’t going to use it. I contacted the seller after only 6-8 weeks as the head had fallen off (like so many other complaints have stated). The seller sent me out a new one and I was more than happy, but now only 7 months after having the replacement lighter, the exact same thing has happened again.I suppose we would buy some solder and an iron to fix it ourselves but why should we have to?Shame as it’s a beautiful lighter.

Just stick with the clipper
Real bad quality (brass version) I will be seeking refund on this item as the lid does not sit correct and feels flimsy, not what I expect from zippo.

It's easily fixed but a bit annoying
The top part of the dragon keeps coming off as its only glued on not welded... It's easily fixed but a bit annoying, I expected better from zippo.Otherwise it's a very nice lighter, my parter loved it as his surprise birthday present.
