John Bonham: A Thunder of Drums Paperback – October 10, 2001

I bought it as a birthday present to myself. Great read. A must read and must have for any Jogn Bonham fan.

A really fun book on one of the most influential musicians of the 60’s and 70’s. It is a great and sad story at the same time. A must for every drummers book list.

Awesome book. The last chapter contains very interesting information about Bonham's drums tuning techniques, which helped me a lot to recreate such kind of sound in my student recording project. Also the last chapter contains some details about how the most famous Bonham's recordings were made. Very useful not only for drummers, but also for audio engineers. Easy to read and captivating.

Chock-full of background and early life information about Bonzo, this was a pleasing read. I particularly enjoyed reading about his influences and his growth as a drummer. Inspirational reading about the greatest of all time for this drummer. Thank you.

Great book with lots of good information

I enjoyed reading this book. A die-hard Bonham fan will enjoy it. As with most of this type of book, you will probably read information that was published in your other must-have Bonham book...

Mildly informative, most of the pics you've seen before. As someone once said- a coffee table book. You can learn more on youtube.

For the hardcore JHB fan, must read! Definitely focused on his background.
