Review: Product is great but - Why selling very expensive now As a product 4.5 stars But i gave it 1 star because of price Review: Extremely Capable Device Given It's Size and Price - The dongo works really well in terms of sound reproduction. The quality is comparable to the Fiio X7 combo I purchased years ago. So far have tested using 192kHz/24bit audio source from Tidal. Paired with Sennheiser IE200, Philips Fidelio X2 and Sennheiser HD660S2. All worked well and the audio quality is comparable to the X7 + Amplifier set I got. With that been said the X7 combo seems has slightly better bass imo. The device is in desktop mode and for HD660S2, I set it to high gain. The only thing people should be aware of, imo, is the firmware version. The device came with v0.99 firmware...... Which you probably don't want to stick to given what I heard in some forms. The newest one is v2.00 btw at the time of writing. Besides that, everything ran pretty smoothly, and Fiio's Windows driver did provide some useful features. Haven't played with EQ yet.
