Best Gluten-Free noodles
We are kind of picky about our pasta and my husband has to have his GF. He loves these and says they are the best he has ever had. You can cook them al dente, which doesn't work for all GF pasta, but it totally does with these.

Yummy and delicious!
What I like most is that the texture of this noodle is like a regular wheat or egg noodle but is vegan and gluten free. Sorghum has high protein content and I like the texture better than the cassava noodles although I eat both for some variety of noodle shapes. I will definitely keep on the lookout for new shapes in a sorghum noodle. Btw sorghum is lectin free as well. Healthiest noodle out there in my opinion. It holds up better than the cassava noodles after cooking when you need to stir in other ingredients either hot or cold. I highly recommend this and any maple shape noodles that this company sells.

Solid for a gluten-free alternative
It's not my favorite but I don't dislike it. I think considering it's gluten-free it's pretty good (which is hit and miss but usually misses for me when comparing to the original). The texture is very gluten-free like, it's almost there to traditional wheat pasta but not quite...some uneven cooking and more firm parts here and there (could have cooked for longer but then I'd probably have had some mushy and some just right parts).I don't mind the flavor which is fairly neutral and the color makes no difference to me...especially when I was going to cover it in tomato sauce anyway. So yeah, I think it might be worth a try if you need a gluten-free wheat pasta alternative for say someone with celiac. However, if you can have wheat pasta you might as well just do that. I feel like this didn't do enough to sway me.

Good substitute for wheat pasta
I recently found out that I have celiac disease and therefore I am looking for alternatives.I have found that rice noodles are very good and today I tried sorghum pasta. I am pleasantly surprised with the taste. They are delicious and I’ll definitely buy them again.

Nice taste and bite. Too bad it's of Chinese origin.
I liked the bite and taste of this product but I suspect that I could cook seminola linguine to get a similar taste and bite for a lower price by fiddling with the cooking time. There's all kinds of hype about sorghum's potential health benefits, but unless I had a condition requiring me avoid gluten or high-glycemic index products, I'm not sure I'd pay extra for a sorghum-based product because to obtain other hyped benefits one would have to know a lot about the exact seed variety that the sorghum flour was created from - and I couldn't find anything on the internet that suggested that the Chinese are concentrating on developing a type of sorghum highly digestible by humans. What I did find was an article indicating that the Chinese have experimented with using sorghum to absorb and therefore clear soils of cadmium as well articles indicating that a large amount of Chinese agricultural land is polluted with among other things, heavy metals. Oh well, I figure I'll survive eating a few ounces of grain produced in China - but I'm not going out of my way to buy more.

Sorghum linguini - teenager approved (with sauce)
Unfortunately, I did not get to try this pasta plain, so my review is for the pasta served with a tomato sauce. The directions say to boil for 10 minutes, but it seemed to need more time, so I boiled for 12 minutes. After 12 minutes, it was still a bit firm in the center. One of my kids said "It's chewy, but I like the chewiness." It did not have much flavor - it mostly took on the flavor of the sauce. It did not have it own yummy flavor like plain white pasta, but it was less obtrusive than whole wheat pasta. All in all, 2 adults and 2 teenagers tried this and liked it, and there was none left. Good nutrition, okay taste, price a bit high.

Tasty gluten-free alternative
This sorghum linguine is a welcome gluten free alternative. I regularly purchase another gluten free pasta. This one has a dark color to it, which does not bother me. Some of the color comes out in the water, which may matter depending on the recipe. I have some recipes which reuse the water, and I may prefer to get another pan of water boiling for some purposes. The portion size is the same as for the other gf pasta I use, and the preparation is the same. I've shown photos with the tomato sauce on, and with meat added, as the color does change the appearance of my meal. I find this pasta tasty, and filling. The big issue will be the price, as this is currently almost 3 times the price of the gf pasta I pick up at my local supermarket. Other than price, this is an excellent alternative, and I enjoyed it.

Dubious organic claims, a bit pricey
This was my first time trying sorghum pasta, and it is certainly a flavorful option for your dishes! I tried it as spaghetti with meat sauce and my family enjoyed the flavor, although the ultra-dark noodles were a bit unappetizing. When eyeing the noodles boiling in the muddy brown sludge, my husband remarked that they "looked Satanic," which is a novel critique of my cooking skills, lol.I cooked the noodles for exactly 10 minutes. They had the desired al-dente floppiness, but their chew was inconsistent. 75% of the noodles were the perfect toothsome chew, but the remaining parts were quite dense and frankly undercooked. I would follow the advice of myself and other reviewers in leaving these noodles to boil for an extra minute or two, as their cook times seem to be more inconsistent from noodle to noodle.I am also a bit skeptical of the claim that these noodles are organic despite being grown in China. That coupled with the fairly high price per serving, and these noodles are a four-star product.
