Gets the job done!
The media could not be loaded. Using this lock to keep our beagle out of the trash can which is housed in a drawer. After trying multiple things to keep her out, I finally bit the bullet and decided it was time to drill into the cabinet. It installed quickly and easily and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It has successfully kept her out of the trash despite her digging and scratching at the cabinet. I installed the key conveniently next to the cabinet on the front of the oven (the lock part screws in to the cabinet but the key part has a strong sticky backed holder and the magnet sits in that)The blue optional stickers come with it but I used my label maker to add “lock” and “key” so that guests could easily see how to open the trash can. The lock can also be temporarily disabled once the cabinet has been opened with a little lever that sits under the latch. We recently had a gathering at our house and all the kids enjoyed the novelty of opening the trash can. Obviously if you were using this for toddlers instead of a dog you could either leave the blue sticker off so they wouldn’t know where to hover the magnet or just place the key out of reach.Pro tip: install the lock as close as you can to the drawer or cabinet pull/knob. Otherwise it will require both hands to open the cabinet (one to hold the key over the lock and the other hand to pull the drawer or cabinet open). See video for visual.

Perfect for my elder mom living with Dementia
I bought these to lock my pantry cabinets overnight, to prevent my elder mom living with Dementia from random late night snacking! It's not the snacking that concerns me so much as cleaning up of her late night mess every morning. They function cleverly with the included magnets, and they appear to be quite durable. Easy to use, and easy to unlock my pantry cabinets with the included magnet. Brilliant idea for the late night snacker in your home, young or old...

Easy to use
We used these around our house for childproofing. It was straight forward to install and they have been working great at keeping the tiny human out of cabinets.

Only cabinet lock I’ve tried that works!
I bought this to be able to lock my cabinet under my bathroom sink because someone I had over once stole something from it but I didn’t want to have an ugly, obvious lock on the handles or anything. This lock works perfectly every time as opposed to ‘smart locks.’ Set up is a little confusing but not too difficult. Highly recommend!

Easy to install
Great item for child safety. They hold the doors securely. Very easy to install. We keep the magnet on the fridge for convenience and out of reach.

Ok, but not great. Would not buy again.
Installation:The company has put a lot of thought into making installation easy and include a tool to align the cabinet side and door side components. This makes installation quick and easy. 5 stars. If you need to use the screws I would drop my rating to 4 stars (it’s just more difficult). Be careful not to place it too close to the door pulls or knobs, it prevents the latch from returning to the locked position (always unlocked).Durability:I give this 2 out of 5 stars for durability. My 23 month old can yank hard enough to break the 2 sided tape (see my photo of detached latch. He did this within 5 days of them being installed). I had waited 24 hours for the tape to adhere before enabling the latch. I am a renter and I do not want to use the provided screws. Things that affect durability. If your cabinet doors have rubber dots that cause them to have a slight gap between the door and cabinet (see my photo) this means you need to have the cabinet side part stick out of the cabinet a bit to be able to latch at all. This reduces the area for the two sided tape to stick. If the backs of your cabinet doors have inset centers like mine (see photo) the door side latch component will likely over hang into the middle when properly placed. This reduces the area where the 2 sided tape sticks.Ease of use:You’re always going back and forth to grab the magent to open the cabinet. It’s frustrating. This will be true of all latches that require a magnet key to unlock. I bought these only because my son had figured out the crack the door open and press the button style latch. Those were really nice while they worked. What the manufacturer could do to make this product better:-Use a name brand 2 sided tape like 3M VHB. I think the adhesive quality is not good enough to handle some of the variation in installations (described above)-Find a way to make your product compatible with door dots. Your installation kit does not account for this offset and it’s really common in US houldholds. My home was built in 2017.-Warn users about placing latches near large pieces of metal. It’s frustrating when you adhere a latch in a spot that isn’t compatible and need to try and relocate it. Your kit only comes with 1 or 2 back up pieces of 2 sided tape in a kit of 16. No room for error.
