I found the blender jug too large for smaller quantities which caused it to leave most of the contents at the side of the jug. It would probably would work fine if blending larger amounts. I also had a leakage from where it fitted onto the base after a few uses. Contacted the company who accepted the return and reimbursed me in full without any quibble. Didn't have chance to try the grinder.

This blender choked on a fairly small quantity of steamed leek and burst into flames. Even if the load were too much for it, it should have been constructed to fail safely.
