I learned decades ago from a Sri Lankan date that the highest quality tea comes from Sri Lanka Sri (Formerly Ceylon).I was able to get Sri Lankan tea in San Francisco but the company I got it from changed its quality. I found Alwazah Ceylon Tea almost 10?years ago on Amazon and I haven’t bought any other black teas since. There were many positive reviews. One in particular was from a person who sounded like a professional tea expert. For about $12 for a lot of tea bags I tried it.I have been Alwazah tea ever since. Every box is consistently excellent and has completely spoiled me for all of the other premium teas that I’ve tried that are much more expensive. I stopped trying after my first Alwazah box.

My husband introduced this tea and I was hooked.The tea is so smooth and a great picker upper without drinking coffee. I have shared some tea bags at work and they they always ask for more.Some have even bought some for their selves to keep at home.

It's tasty. Has sort of a malty taste to it. Beautiful smell too.

My favorite tea that taste great with a splash of milk! I like this tea when I’m feeling slightly sluggish and need a quick pick me up.

A friend of mine introduced me to this tea a few years ago. She bought it at a local middle eastern grocer. I was so happy when I saw I could purchase it on Amazon. Love this stuff—just can’t have it after 1pm or I’m up all night! Tastes even better with agave syrup.
