Basically this dongle works great. After using CarPlay I thought it would be much more useful if I didn't have to plug in my iPhone 13 everytime I got into the car. I had heard about wireless adaptors for CarPlay and thought that this would be perfect for me - and the price was very attractive.I received it in just 2 days through Amazon and it worked almost perfectly. It was very easy to set up and I liked that it automatically connected to my iPhone every time I got into the car. Your car must be CarPlay capable in order to use this. This adapter only turns you vehicle's CarPlay into a wireless mode. That's why I use it. Otherwise I had to keep my iPhone plugged into the USB A port. Only using this while in the car I was always leaving my phone in th e car because I was used to having it in my pockets. This dongle allows me to keep phone in pocket while it is Bluetooth attached to my car.The adapter is quite small and comes with short cables, USB A to C and USB C to C. There are some glitches from time to time like disconnecting you from Sirius Radio when hanging up a phone call or being a little slow in receiving a phone call. Phone will ring a couple of times before being recolonized by CarPlay but it wireless connection is what you want, this is for you. Have not needed tech support although you do have to disconnect your phones Bluetooth from your car before you try to connect via Bluetooth. Once connected to the adapter you can disconnect it and reconnect your phone directed to your car but you have to disconnect the USB A port or most cars will auto reconnect to CarPlay if port is in use. This allows you to use CarPlay or not depending on your choice.I'm really quite impressed with the prod uct itself as well as the integrity of the tech support organization. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has a car with wired Apple CarPlay and would like to convert it to wireless Apple CarPlay.

The wireless CarPlay adapter frequently disconnects and exhibits significant lag, making it frustrating to use. Its poor compatibility with my older car further diminishes its functionality and value.

This is the third product I have tried for my Car Play. The other two were useless; one never connected and the other would drop the connection. This one has worked from day 1. The only advise I can give is to be patient. You have to let it boot up after your car starts. For instance, If I put my car in reverse before the unit has converted to Car Play, it didn't complete the startup because the backup camera interrupted the process. After that, I just wait (about 30 seconds) until it is connected and I am good to go. Now we wait and hope it lasts!

Its works but sometimes it disconnects when there is sudden movement of the car or may it will not connect in the first place or sometimes the car speaker does not work for calls.So its just a convenience but can be finicky sometimes.

I have a 2021 Honda Ridgeline. I tried another wireless adapter about a year ago and was so disappointe d, I returned it. But, I still wanted to use CarPlay because it has everything I need in one place. I read reviews from time to time and found nothing that did not report the same problems I had. Then I read about this adapter and decided to give it a try.I have to say this wireless carplay unit works! It just seemed like this would be another so-so product from China, but wow, was I wrong. I was stunned by the 0 latency problems. It worked first time, and continues to. Depending on the vehicle you use one in, the connection time can vary. Mine is about 8-16 seconds or average. I started using the internet with a dial up connection. I know I waited longer than that so the connection time is not a problem with me. And, some of that time I use to fasten my seatbelt and back out of the driveway.Wireless for the win - no more disconnects from bumps in the road or passengers accidentally touching my phone. Everythin g is super responsive, from Pandora, to my podcast app, maps, phone calls, and text messages. Very pleased!Tip - My box has a designated WIFI and Bluetooth. I don't know if other vehicle systems have this problem but the iPhone bluetooth always connected at the same time as the box. Having to bluetooth connections prevented all of my music apps from working. I tried disconnecting the vehicle bluetooth, but it automatically reconnected each time making the box inoperable. I ended up using ""forget this device"" and solved the problem.It actually works! I would recommend this.

Well, I was pumped at first but then, I went on a road trip and this thing melted down. It seems to do ok with 1 mode in operation. Say you’re listening to music, it does ok but if you add music and GPS it starts to fail. Then, I tried to do music, GPS and phone and everything just quit!! It was as if the computing power just wasn’t there so it just died. I didn’t bother with tech support. I just boxed it up and sent it back; not wanting the return window to close on me. Fortunately Honda was offering factory wireless CarPlay option. It was like $174, but works flawlessly on my 18 Accord EX-L.

I used the device for about 2 weeks. The device connects fine with my phone and my car, and I have no trouble using navigation system (without sound). The sound frequently disconnects even though it still has a good carplay connection. I have to replug the usb connection to get my sound back. Also, there is 2-3 seconds delay when playing any audio or video.

After years of fumbling around with a cord, I took the plunge and purchased this wireless CarPlay adapter. The clouds parted and the birds started singing.This product works perfectly. It was nicely packaged, it was intuitive and easy to set up and it has worked perfectly every time so far with my aftermarket Alpine system. No need to take my phone out of my pocket. As soon as I start the car it connects seamlessly with my phone. All of my phone automations with CarPlay still work.Great product. I highly recommend it!
