I have no negatives.This Is a very sturdy knife. I got it to chop small branches in my yard. When it came, I knew what it was supposed to look like, but once I held it in my hands, I decided that this needs to stay in my kitchen.This beautiful machete should have a chance to live on your counter tops. It's so pretty that you can proudly display it for others to see.I was able to shave with this right out of the box. I shaved my face and heard. Yes it's sharp, but it's quite large and heavy. I just wanted to ensure its sharpness being other reviews said it was dull. I could break down a side off beef with this. It can do some delicate work, then you can chop through bones.I'll be getting another. One for my cooking pack for when I'm out in the woods and one more to chop through the trees in my yard as originally wanted.I'm going to check out other cutlery from this maker. The designs are perfect.Any complaints? Yes, if I'm forced to have a negative for this knife. It didn't come with a piece of rope to wrap around my wrist.I was enraged. So angry, my heart was broken. Uh, dramatic pose.I took a length of Paracord and tied it in place. Wrapped it around my wrist and saved the entirety of the world and those to come after I'm gone.

Great solid tool. Heavy weight, but easy to hold. It's a good size to carry around. I got it as a gift for my husband. He loves it. The design on the back of the blade looks better in person. My husband describes as like mountains. I was also pleasantly surprised by the detailed decorations on the sheath. It was overall better than expected for the price.

It didn’t come sharp but the price was right and it is awesome cause it is thick and has a good weight but as I used it to process wood it started to hurt my hand a bit the handle could have been a bit longer but overall a badass knife /machette /hatchet/ Seax

This is a beast! I purchased to debark branches for wood working. It is incredibly impressive. Good weight, came sharp out of the box, especially as you get closer to the handle.I handle is a bit small for my hand, but I have bear paws and it comfortable for several minutes. If I'm using for more than 15 minutes my hand will become fatigued and I will start to roll.

Very heavy duty. This would be effective in uncertain times.
