I think this is a really cool idea for a product. This is a super lightweight and portable soldering iron that you can take with you anywhere. I have found this to be very useful in my soldering kit when no outlet is available for a conventional soldering iron. It is perfect for soldering wires in a car since it saves you the trouble of running an extension cord out to the vehicle. Its also good for a fixing wires in a pinch. I will eventually keep this soldering iron in my electric bike tool kit to repair any damaged wires on the go.The main disadvantage I experienced with this soldering iron is that the battery life isn't great. I am able to get about 15 minutes of soldering in before the battery dies. If you are using this for a quick repair, that shouldn't be too much of an issue but I was using this to assemble a little DIY bluetooth speaker kit and I ran out of battery before I was even half way through. Based on the weight of the battery, I'm confident they could've fitted a larger lithium cell in there but then it probably wouldn't be such an affordable product.This soldering iron also comes with a few accessories like multiple solder tips, solder, and a stand with sponge to wipe the soldering iron on. I really like the stand since it is stable, small, and convenient. The solder seems to be decent quality but there isn't much of it so just buy your own solder if you plan on using this a lot. The attached photo was some soldering I did using this portable soldering iron and the included solder.Overall this is a really cool kit. It allows you to solder in places that might be out of reach for a conventional soldering iron. It also allows for emergency soldering fixes which is super cool. The main downside is the small battery capacity which limits soldering sessions to about 15 minutes before you need to charge it up again.Based on the affordable price and the endless use cases for this soldering iron, I would recommend getting one. It couldn't hurt to have and its perfect for light duty soldering. Its not a replacement for a real soldering iron but it gets the job done in a pinch when you don't have an outlet available. Super cool product.

This is a descent soldering iron tool for the size. I like that it comes with 3 tips and the 3 temperature option.It does charge pretty quick and the charge does last about 30 minutes while in use.Great on the go soldering tool and as it is small.

It is fast and super hot, however It has a major design flaw that can and may cause device malfunction and/or device failure..The third time i attempted to use the device i began to unscrew the cap only to discover that the cap had seized on the threads and instead of removing the cap it exposed the inner circuitry and wiring-severing the + saulder head wire from the base of the head. And the device no longer functions

This is a nice little soldering iron for light work. This pocket-sized tool is great for small jobs. It heats up quickly and has three settings. It comes with three tips for a variety of options depending on what works best for a specific job. The manufacturer claims a thirty minute run time which I have not tested. It charges quickly, and easily fits into a pocket or tool bag. It is really nice to have a small unit without a cord to getting the way.
