I have quite a few Joseph Joseph items in my bathroom and purchased this slim soap dispenser in grey & white to match in with the rest. Love the simple and slim design but opening the top up to fill was a bit fiddly the first time. The only other slight cons for me with this is the fact that it has no anti slip feet on the bottom so moves around a bit when using, you have to figure out the best spot for pressing the dispenser to get it to work (at the back and not the front) and after dispensing the hand wash you sometimes get a slight drip. However, this said, moving about can be remedied with some sticky clear feet pads and once you've found the spot to press the pump, all is good. Takes up very little space and easy to clean.

This is a lovely looking dispenser, well designed and looks great in my bathroom, but as other reviewers have mentioned the dispensing mechanism requires improvement. It only really works if you press the top of the dispenser right at the very back, on the top. If you press it more towards the front, you get nothing out of the nozzle at all, or just a dribble. It is also quite hard to remove the lid to refill. The packaging was not great either, as it was stuck to the side of the dispenser with an odd plastic glue. Once the packaging was removed, the glue left a horrible mark on the side of the dispenser, which will not shift (have already tried two different cleaning products on it), so it now has a grey-ish mark on the side that won't clean off. With all that in mind, as the sole purpose of this item is to dispense handwash, it's actually not really fit for purpose and the packaging basically ruined the finish on the item.

Perfect for cloakroom

This is probably the worst soap dispenser I've ever used, so much so that I'm taking the effort to write a review on it (which I ordinarily wouldn't do). It is hard to dispense soap with one hand, and refilling it with soap is also unnecessarily difficult and messy. But by far the worst thing about this dispenser is that water and other fluids can seep into the dispenser from the outside, mixing with the soap and diluting it. I have noticed this several times, where I have filled the dispenser and a few days later noticed the soap has become very watery. This is frankly dangerous, especially if you are using this in the kitchen where you are preparing food - for example if your hands are covered in raw chicken juice and you go to wash your hands, the raw chicken juice can seep into the dispenser and contaminate the soap! In view of this critical flaw I would strongly recommend avoiding this soap dispenser like the plague. There are plenty of others available on the market which won't risk poisoning you.
