Easily stirable

This finely ground pandan leaf powder is fragrant. However, I do not like it as a drink as it is grainy due to the undissolved leaf residue. When I use it in baking, I add water to the powder, let it sit overnight in the fridge to settle the residue at the bottom, and then strain it using a coffee filter. The cake made with this strained liquid is delicious with a good pandan flavor but not as strong as from fresh leaves.

I must have bought this at a weak moment. Who knows if this stuff does what’s advertised? Not me. I put a teaspoon in my smoothie before golfing (3-5 days a week) and drink it. There’s no flavor to this powder and ….. it’s sooooo fine it can get everywhere just opening and closing the bag. Personally, I’ll use this bag but not buying it again. For no other reason than the mess it makes.

I bought this to mix in sweet drinks as a substitute for extract or steeping pandan leaves. I don’t find it at all suitable for this purpose. The powder does not dissolve well in cold water and the taste was not very pandan flavored. The powder itself arrived brown and looked oxidized. Not at all a pleasant or bright green color like the pictures. I might have given it 1 star but wanted to be generous since I haven’t bought other powders to compare
