My old remote fell out in the driveway and was destroyed after being run over multiple times before being found. This was fairly easy to pair with the TM, but you do have to take the TM apart so make sure you pair it before your trip. Works just as well as the original remote for the TM.

I ordered two (one as a spare) of these units after dropping my original 2003 remote in the lake. Both units connected to my co-pilot in seconds. I couldn't be happier. Great price(almost half of other sellers!) from this retailer. I will visit them for other gear.

A buddy upgraded his trolling motor and gave me his used MK Power Drive V2, but the foot pedal was broken and he couldn't find the remote. So I though I'd start with a replacement remote (much cheaper than a new foot pedal) so I could at least use it without having to drop over $150 right away. This remote was very easy to sync to the V2 trolling motor and works great. I'm not sure I'll even need to buy a foot pedal, as I had no issue controlling the motor while fan casting. Sure, I have to stop casting while making adjustments, but I can do it quick enough to where it's no issue for me. Plus, I like having the extra room up front without the pedal and that I can move all over the boat and still control the motor.

It was easy to program to my trolling motor. My challenge was trying to remember how to sync it with my older tolling motor. Works very well with my motor.

Just had the opportunity to try out the Copilot Remote that we purchased in April 2020. None of the functions work properly its like the remote is confused. The buttons to turn the trolling motor left or right don't work the buttons to turn the trolling motor on and off sometimes work. The button to increase or decrease speed sometimes work other times they turn the trolling motor on and off. Since we just had the opportunity to try the remote out we missed the return timeline by about 11 days. Very poor quality!!! Would not recommend!!!
