Not good for concrete dye application. Drips.
Got it for concrete dye application. No matter what I did, I would get drips from the sprayer, which messed up the application.

Tuff Sprayer
I needed a sprayer to spray house cleaner on my deck before pressure washing. This tank worked great for that caustic stuff. I'm not sure if there's acetone in the house cleaner or not, but it acutally faded the tank. It held out for the entire job.

My new weed sprayer!
I'm the type of individual that prefers to NOT spray chemicals around my home. No "Tumor Lawn", no weed spray. The only place I use even a LITTLE spray is all the way at the back of my property to control a patch of poison ivy. And as long as I keep that under control, very little weed spray is needed. But I needed something to take care of weeds growing in the cracks in the sidewalk and driveway and whatnot. Seeking a natural solution, I found one that I didn't mind using and which was pretty effective against most weeds, which is acetic acid, otherwise known as "vinegar". I get 5 gallon jugs of glacial acetic acid because it's cheaper to mix it myself. Glacial acetic acid (99% or better) is called "glacial acetic acid" because it freezes at 63 F, btw.I like to mix it a little stronger than the store bought stuff, usually around 10-15% for weed spray. Problem is, at 10-15%, acetic acid is terribly hard on natural rubber. So, it's also terribly hard on run-of-the-mill garden sprayers. Leaks are frequent, and I learned to keep o-ring kits handy. Now, before I saw this sprayer on Amazon, I didn't even know anyone made sprayers able to resist hydrocarbons / acetates, such as acetone and acetic acid. But now that I have this, I should stop burning through o-rings every year! Hurray! It comes with 2 fan spray tips plus the adjustable nozzle sprayer. Personally, I'll use the adjustable nozzle sprayer most of all. If you're using this to apply industrial coatings or something, you may find the fan tips quite useful. The hose it came with is about as industrial as industrial gets. Easily DOUBLE the diameter of any of my other sprayer hoses, and very tough looking, yet surprisingly flexible. The spray head is made almost entirely of polymers, which is what you want, as acetic acid will react with many metals (albeit somewhat slowly) to form salts of those metals, such as cupric acetate and iron (II) and iron (III) acetate. Nobody wants to spray Iron (III) acetate on their concrete unless you want it to turn brown. The body of the sprayer seems to be a nice glass-filled nylon, I think. I can tell that it's made with an exceptionally durable and resilient plastic, and there's lots of it. It's MUCH more substantial in wall thickness than my other sprayers, by a factor of 2 or 3 easily. It also has a nice little pop-out wand holder to keep the wand in place, and of course a shoulder strap which does the best job it can but they never seem to have enough padding in them, lol.Plus, I like that everything's red. Sure, acetic acid isn't flammable at 10-15% concentrations (it really doesn't get flammable until around 90%), but you could have acetone in it as well, and that's obviously flammable. Everybody knows not to pick up a red sprayer and try to put out a fire. Right, everyone? The pumping mechanism is also very robust, with no handle flex and a good, quality seal. In short, it's about as "quality" a sprayer as you can get, near as I can tell.If you're in the market for a sprayer capable of handling acetates, this is a FANTASTIC choice. The quality of this sprayer would be as at home with the home owner looking to spray some weeds with vinegar as it would be in the professional contractor's truck filled with whatever he's spraying as part of the job. I was very impressed, and I very much recommend it, regardless of your demand level.

Heavy duty pump solvent sprayer
I have tried so many different sprayers over the past few years and I hated most of them. The electric pumps would either lose its seal or constantly fail, while most manual pumps would break or wear you out using them. This pump is going to last me a very long time. It’s capable of building up a tremendous amount of pressure for a manual pump and hold its seal the entire day. I’m able to get the most out of each pump so I can spend more time spraying instead of trying to fill a leaky tank. The wand is nice but I’m not a huge fan of the plastic handle. I was able to replace it with a steel and brass handle for like $15 so it’s not too bad. I’d imagine the plastic is more resistant to oxidation so I don’t blame them for the extra expense. The hose is a quality soft rubber that’s well made and includes a swivel for easy handling and doesn’t bind up every time you reposition. My only real complaint is that the shoulder strap seems more of an afterthought than anything. Not unusable but not the best for all day use on your back. Overall, a very very good sprayer that has been a lifesaver for me. Keeps air and chemicals inside the tank and keeps contaminants out. Highly recommended.

The Ultimate Solution for Acetone Lacquer Thinner & Vinegar
I recently purchased this sprayer, and have been quite impressed with its performance so far. This sprayer is built with a robust construction that feels very sturdy and is clearly made to last. I've already used it with acetone and lacquer thinner, and I couldn't be more satisfied with how well it handles these harsh chemicals. The sprayer is designed to withstand the corrosive nature of substances like acetone and vinegar, which is a significant advantage for anyone in need of a reliable tool for such applications. It consistently delivers a smooth and even spray, making my work much more efficient and effective. However, I did encounter an issue during assembly. The installation of the hose proved to be somewhat tricky because the nut at the base does not rotate independently. This meant I had to rotate the entire hose to screw it on, which was a bit cumbersome and took some extra time and effort.Despite this minor hiccup, the overall quality and performance of the sprayers are outstanding. It's a top-notch tool that I highly recommend to anyone dealing with acetone or lacquer thinner regularly. Just be prepared for a little struggle with the hose installation, but once that's set, it performs flawlessly

Worked very well! Decent sprayer for the money
I waited too long to buy this sprayer. I was refilling my cheaper one-gallon one too often and I had to pump far more often. This sprayer is great quality and easy to pump. The 2-gallon height probably helps with the pumping action. I wish it had a more durable strap. With the strap, I am able to walk with it fully filled. The hose is long enough for me to spray hanging plants with it sitting on the ground. I would re-purchase this sprayer. Anyhow what I'm getting at is the watering tank is just perfect for that capacity you need but also with the compatibility and quality of an industrial water sprayer. I would easily recommend this to anyone from a novice just several plant growing person to a small farmer neither would be overkill or not enough.
