Very happy with this cooler! The air flow is strong and cools the room quickly. It runs smoothly and is not too noisy. Great performance for the price — highly recommended!

I purchased the Orient Electric Durachill 40 L Portable Air Cooler on 27-29th May 2025, and by 2nd July 2025, it had already stopped working! Pathetic build quality and even worse performance. Within just a month of use, the air stopped passing completely even though the fan was running. This put pressure on the blades and ultimately the blade broke down. What’s the use of a cooler that doesn’t pass air? Absolutely zero cooling and just a buzzing fan inside a dead box. Totally disappointed with Orient – I trusted this brand but clearly, it’s not reliable anymore. This product is a complete failure. Feels like a waste of money, time, and energy. Their customer service is slow, and even the warranty support isn’t responsive. ⚠️ I strongly recommend others: DO NOT BUY THIS COOLER. It’s better to invest in something more reliable than regret later. Orient Durachill = Duracheat!

Good product

Good purchase for summer! The 40 L tank lasts long and the inverter compatibility is a big plus during power cuts. Easy to move around the house. A little tricky to assemble at first, but overall very effective.The built-in water pump does a great job — the air stays cool even on hot afternoons......

I have used extensively for two months and maintained it well. Pros: 1. Good Air throw 2. Good Area coverage 3. Swing function is also good covering close to 150-160 degrees horizontally and for vertical you can adjust the wings. 4. Not that much noise initally, but after a month or so, the noise of the fan increases slightly. 5. Water capacity is decent and can pull through the night inspite of being very dry climate and if the tank is fully filled. Cons: 1. Water inlet is at the back and very small passage you shud get used to it pouring without messing. 2. Ice tray is missing but you can remove the honeycomb behind and drop ice if required 3. Cleaning and flushing out water is slightly inconvenient but it's possible and need patience. 4. Power consumption is higher than fan and lower than AC. But, continuous usage of 10+ hours consumes a lot of electricity. AC we won't using that much. 5. You have to keep windows or door open, still in bedrooms behind the Cooler itneill be hotdue to temperature difference infront of the cooler and behind. This is entirely depends upon the ventilation. The biggest disappointment is my cooler fan broke and fell into the water tank hardly 2 months and that too not any external physical damage and it has been well maintained. I have been charged 450 rupees to change the fan inspite of being in Warranty. They claimed it's plastic part doesn't fall under warranty. Online or whatsapp service registration is not user friendly, even though I live in a metro, my pin code and location or not displayed and showing wrong area. I have to login through personal call. But, the service was prompt as mentioned and repairing done as per the requirement.

Bad quality product... No customer support from Orient... I purchased on 6th of April and They Delivered me on 7 th of April. I am a Prime Member of Amazon. The return window closed on 17 th of April and the Cooler give the abnormal sound while on running... I raised complaint about that but Orient not responding.. When I contacted Amazon about that then Orient sent one of service agent but that person not familiar with Hindi and English language.. it make me more trouble... He told me you need to visit Showroom otherwise change the motor.. that day he open all the parts.. on NXT day the Fan blade was broke and it's completely stops working also I found the Mounting of Moter is not well and I questioned about that then the agent told me it's company fault and now the screws thread were damaged so can't repair... I Raised complaint against the blade but Orient told me I need to purchase new blade with full of payment because Fan is not covered in Warranty... I requested to Manager please order and fitt as soon as possible. He agrees on that day but after 6-7 days they not taking any action... I was completely helpless... I contacted both Amzon and Orient but nobody help me... When I have the all of Proof of all things and as per Amzon Customer service agent told me Amazon will raise Return Refund request I was gone through Consumer Court.. within 2 days they created return refund request and picked up the Item... It is very horrible experience for me... Please don't buy this product and don't believe on Orient company... Amazon help me but very lastly and not properly...

A must buy to fight summer. Strong air flow because of heavy motor. Air flow makes air reach every corner of room. Honeycomb pads for effective cooling. Four Wheels make it easy to move. Front window don't allow dust to enter in it thus less maintenance is required . 1 year warranty is icing on the cake.

Fan of cooler broke in period of just 2 months. Not durable. Quality of parts in very poor. Person who has visited to attend the complaint said that Company (Orient) is getting complaints for poor quality of fans
