So I haven't fully installed this light yet, but I got it to replace a couple of bulbs that barely provide any light to my shop area. So far I just wired a temporary pigtail plug onto this light and have used it by sitting it on the top shelf in the shop and it is amazing even in that poor setup!Once I get a chance to install a new light box in the center of the ceiling, this will be the perfect light for my shop!

I have used many of their products over the years, and this Outdoor LED Canopy Light is no exception to the rule.Canopy lights are designed to be installed in outdoor locations where some moisture may be present. When installed according to directions, they are all but waterproof. Like all LED products, these lights tend to create quite a bit of light for the amount of electricity used. This fixture will consume about 35 watts at low illumination levels and about 75 watts at the highest illumination level.This LED canopy light is intended to be installed on any 110-120 volt standard USA circuit, and it can be switched on and off using the dusk-to-dawn photocell sensor included. You can select between three different color-temperatures AND three different levels of light output at the time of installation, to best suit your needs in the location where you are.One unusual feature of this light is the built-in motion sensor. It can be set so as to leave the light OFF until motion is detected, and then switch the light ON, or you can choose to let the light burn at 10 percent of brightness until motion is detected, and then switch quickly to full power. That is pretty darn convenient.The manufacturer claims that using the various options built into this canopy light, you can configure this fixture in 54 different ways! They also claim that this light can still burn at 70% of full original brightness after 100,000 hours of illumination. That is pretty remarkable! I am impressed with this Lithonia Lighting LED Canopy light, and I recommend it!

We have our laundry area just inside of a large 3 car garage. My wife wanted something automatic that would turn on automatically if she walked around with a basket in her hands, rather than having to turn on all of the garage lights. I mounted this just inside the garage door, right above the laundry area. It's extremely bright and the motion detection works great. Install was super simple with the hinged setup.

This Lithonia LED ceiling light is a very solid product from a well-known brand. The number of different settings is simply mind-blowing. (The sales listing mentions that there are 54 different configurations possible.) This has so many settings (motion detection, brightness settings, temperature/color settings, etc) that it’s hard to decide what setting to use first. The bad thing about the multiple settings is that once the fixture is installed, the settings panel is basically no longer accessible. It’s unfortunate there is not a method to access those settings with something like a remote control.This fixture was designed for several different types of installation - a sign of Lithonia’s design expertise. And the high degree of water resistance (IP65) allows further flexibility in where this fixture can be installed. It is rated at 75 Watts at 110VAC but supposedly can handle up to 347Volts. And the longevity of the LEDs is stated at over 100,000 hours which seems unusually long. Of course with a promise of such extended lifespan, it takes many years to know whether the LEDs actually last that long or not.The application i intended this light fixture for was a small bathroom where i want to install it on a lightswitch so that it can be utilized or not as desired. The big issue is deciding exactly what settings are going to work best since uninstalling the fixture several times to test out the various settings would simply be too time-consuming.All in all i am happy with the light fixture but sure wish the settings were accessible remotely.

Every time I review a Lithonia light fixture, I wonder why I ever buy other brands. Lithonia is currently making what I consider to be the best residential and commercial crossover outdoor LED lighting on the market. This canopy fixture is no exception.The lens provides enough diffusion that even at full brightness this light is not harsh to stand under. It gives even coverage to a large area.The warm option on the color temperature selection switch is what makes this light suitable for residential applications. At 3000k, the warm setting is very easy on the eyes at night. Perfect for a carport, garage, or RV cover. The 4000k and 5000k color settings are better for commercial or security lighting applications, they are brighter pure white that can be hard on the eyes at night.Two screws open the hinged cover. Wiring is simple, just connect the hot, neutral, and ground wires. Everything else can be set from the outside by unscrewing the switch cover. It's a convenient design.For only drawing 75 watts, this light produces a lot of lumens. It's probably brighter than you would expect. Useful for mounting up high for a large coverage area.Great value for the money. Definitely recommend this and all other Lithonia Lighting products.
