Berne Heartland Sherpa-Lined Washed Duck Vest

fits great, love the inner pockets.

I wanted to post this review since there is not many customer photos and the vest is much nicer than the Amazon listing photos. I purchased this vest to replace my Carhartt after buying some Berne bibs the year before. It's just as nice or better than my Carhartt at nearly half the price. It certainly fits nicer than my Carhartt. Nice look, lots of Sherpa, heavy duty zipper, plenty of pockets and it covers your butt. For reference I ordered a large tall and in these photos I am around 6'2 210lbs.

This Berne vest is every bit as good as anything that Carhartt puts out in the same style! It has a breast pocket on the outside with a zipper, an inside breast pocket on the right side with Velcro. The left inside breast pocket is a zippered pocket. There’s also two handwarmers pockets. This is a well-made vest! I have a coat made by Berne too, in the same duck/canvas material. I wear it here in Michigan at very cold temperatures. I wore this vest at 20 Degree windchill with a hoodie a I was very comfortable.This vest is 1/3 less the cost of a Carhartt and it is every bit is good or better in many ways. I would definitely refer this to my friends and I would buy this again if needed.

the cut is too small at the torso

I’m 5’5-5’6 140 pounds. I usually wear a small or medium T shirt. Berne seems to fit me perfectly and doesn’t fit weird like carhartt does for my build. So far everything I own from Berne has been a size medium. I would highly recommended this vest. The Sherpa lining is warm and the quality is great. Even the pockets are Sherpa lined.

Fits as expected for a big and tall guy. Warm, pliable. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and comfort. Prices about right for what it is.
