🎣 Reel in the Big One with Berkley Gulp! Fat Floating Trout Worms!
The Berkley Gulp! Fat Floating Trout Worm is a 2-inch soft plastic bait designed specifically for trout fishing. With its lifelike scent, taste, and texture, it offers extreme scent dispersion to attract fish over a wider area. The bait floats in the water column, mimicking live bait, and comes in a vibrant fluorescent red color, making it easy for fish to spot. This next-generation soft bait is a convenient and effective alternative to traditional live bait.

Great fish attractant
I normally use the Berkley power bait trout worms, with great success. However when things are slow, I pull out this more expensive "gulp" version. If there are feeding trout, they typically work. Worm is not as flexible as the power bait worms, but get more flexible the longer it stays in the water. While it is more effective, it does break down a little quicker and tears. This is an okay trade off considering it's effectiveness. I fish it wacky style with the worm pushed over the hook eye onto the line, along the bottom of the stream. If it tears, I usually break it in half and thread it over the hook, just onto the line. I only use Owner Mosquito hooks, size 8 or 10. I have only used the pink and the natural colors. If you are worm trout fisherman, I highly recommend.

even though these are small, they are fat and float great... Updated
didn't catch anything on this trip got a few bumps but no hooksets... mousetails didn't work for us either... i'll update after we try them later this year... update: I started using this with power bait dough and it worked great. if the trout got the powerbait I still had the worm instead of a bare hook... you do need to give the fish a little more time to get the bait...

Totally finger licking good.
They ACTUALLY got bites ALL DAY in Southern California / Big bear lake. Which is, in itself, and AMAZING feat equal to Hercules slaying the Hydra...well done Berkley, well done.It has nothing to do with the worm...its about the scent these things have on them. Very potent and a little sticky on the fingers. Don't get KFC while fishing with there...bad combo.

Size does matter!
Be careful when ordering, it looks like a nightcrawler in the picture and that's what they call it, but it's 2" long and about 1/16" thick, so it's more like a small worm or what I would call a wiggler, not a nightcrawler. Still useful but not for what I intended.

BERKEY 2" FLOATING TROUT WORM
THIS IS A NEW BAIT FOR ME, AND I'VE USED IT DURING THE CURRENT WESTERN WASHINGTON TROUT SEASON; I HAVE USED IT MAINLY WHEN THE TROUT ARE BEING FINICKY ABOUT WHAT BAIT THEY'LL HIT; THESE BERKLEY FLOATING TROUT WORMS HAVE NEVER FAILED TO COAX THE TROUT TO HIT. WILL CERTAINLY PURCHASE MORE!

Does not float
First thing first, They do not float. Having said that I did catch a trout with it first time out in a lake. What I did, once I found it didn't float was add a rubber egg to my hook to make the bait buoyant.

Small but deadly!
First time useing this in a local river full of trout, I let the weight sink to the bottom as the stream floated it up *Yes it floats great*, i had 3 Bites within 30minutes and caught me a trout! This is some magical juicy worm bait, nice and smelly so the trout can sniff it out from quite far away. Hook it like you'd do any old worm and they'd go nuts for it.
