I got this lantern not for camping (though I see why it would be good for that), but because when the lights go out it's good to have a reliable light source that you don't have to worry about keeping batteries around for.This one is really handy and can be used a variety of ways, all of which make it well worth the investment. First I like it because right out of the box it was ready to use. The lantern is rechargeable and you can charge it just as you would your cell phone or other device. It comes with a charging cord that is also great to use for another great feature: the lantern doubles as a powerbank! You can charge your phone or device from the light! That definitely comes in handy when the lights are out.The lantern itself is easy to carry with the handle or you can use the hanger that comes with it to hang it up. Last thing I'll mention is that you can take the top of the lantern off and with a push of a button you are able to dim the light or even use the emergency function that flashes if you are trying to get attention.Really handy device that I will be keeping close by.

Very well built, great light output. I had just purchased the exact same lantern, different name on it, for nearly three times the cost. I still have the expensive one. Side by side the light output is exactly the same. The only difference is the name on it and the color. And I might add This one has a little red flashing , Find it, beacon and the expensive one does not.

Very bright with in a 6 ft radius. Doesn't light up much past that. Can be seen from a long ways off for sure and the fact that I can charge my phone off it is why I really bought it. Holds a charge for a long time. Great light.

Holds a charge for a few days, but does not provide much more than ambient lighting. Works well for temporary purposes.
