I don't normally do reviews, but I felt like I this deserved one. I normally don't wear a belt when I lift, but recently I've been lifting heavier and making those sweet, sweet, gains. So I decided to buy a belt since i left my velcro harbinger belt at the gym and lost it, i wanted a leather belt, and I wanted dat dere intrabdominal pressure.So I see this belt, and the ad. $20? It must be junk. Then I see the reviews and decide, what the hell, lets get it.Out of the box, it's an aesthetically pleasing build. Color is bright but not over the top and the overall construction seems nice. Strong metal buckle and prongs. Doesn't look poorly made at all.But how does it perform, is the real question. I planned to do legs the day the belt arrived, and up to this point I've done 2 leg sessions and 2 back sessions.As we know, the belt is used by pressing the core against the belt to create intraabdominal pressure and stabilize the spine. So first leg day, I was squatting much higher weight than I could with my last belt. More importantly, it took a lot of stress out of my lower back, so i could properly target my legs. After finishing legs on a monday and back on a wednesday, it's helped me to train those muscles before I go back and strengthen my core and spinal erectors.Overall, quality is solid. It definitely seems to be as good as other leather belts I've used. Good stuff my dudes.

Good little back up belt

Absolutely LOVE IT! I am a personal trainer and lift usually 6 days/week and am currently prepping for a power lifting comp coming up in February. This belt is truly heavy duty and yet fits very comfortable. I am 6'2" and about 220lbs. Neither on Deadlift nor back/front squat is the belt pinching in either hips or ribs. I am very happy with the all around thickness of the belt as the feeling of stability when I brace during heavier weights and still hitting reps is very comfortable and a big confidence booster. The Medium size is a perfect fit and it stays well in place the whole time. The aesthetics are also great, feeling quite bad ass at the gym! The buckles are also very solid and preferred by me personally, as your waist may be bigger later on in the day (due to food and water) so it's nice being able to adjust it just right for every lift.Would definitely recommend this to a friend/client.

I recently acquired a lifting belt because I have been increasing my weight for my deadlifts and don't want to have to worry about getting a hernia. Anyways, this is the belt / company I landed on. The quality is absolutely amazing on this belt, it feels good and it also looks good. I am not a fan of their logo - but that isn't why I bought the belt. I tested it the same day I received it and wow. I felt more secure and confident in my ability and I ended up lifting an extra 20 pounds extra that day. I am a very happy customer and would recommend this belt to anyone who is considering getting one. You cannot beat the price, quality and it's a small family business... doesn't get any better than that!

This belt is amazing. Its now my favorite, I normally would wear an APT 6" 3 buckle but unfortunately it got wet in a flooded basement incident and couldn't be saved. This belt provides the rigidity, comfort and just the perfect amount of stretch. I was impressed with its build quality and its held up so far to some pretty good weight without causing me undue pain.

Love it! I had been doing some free weight, weight lifting and threw my back out. After hitting the Chiropracter a few times I was ready to get back into it. I purchased this belt to help stabilize my back while lifting. So far, so good. After a few uses, I don’t even notice that I am wearing it.I was looking at some that were fabric with Velcro and didn’t feel that would hold up over time. This one is leather, heavy duty and does the job. I would purchase another, but don’t ever see that this one will fail to where I need another. Priced right, happy results.

I was pleased to discover the Bear Komplex lifting belt. I had purchased another companies belt and was sure it would not hold up to strenuous use. I returned it (before even using) and searched amazon and was about to buy a different belt (for more money), when I stumbled on the Bear Komplex belt. Same specs as the one I was considering, but the price was unbeatable. Plus, this belt had the leather behind the buckle that the overpriced belt didn't have, Overall, you can't beat this belt for purpose, function, and price! And shipping was VERY fast! I love this belt. It’s comfy and doesn’t dig in your sides. It keeps me tight and I’m constantly reminded to keep my core tight when lifting. I’d recommend it to anyone

Distributes the tension quite nice. I have a back injury so I can't lift any weights without hurting my back, but this belt does the job beautifully. It might be too wide for shorter people when they try to bend over, but since I'm quite tall, I didn't have this issue. More than decent quality for the price.

Does it's job, I only wear it for seated overhead press. It protects my lower back as I press heavyweight ( for me ). Would recommend for most unless you're a power lifter or pro bodybuilder

Top belt, soft at the edges so it doesn’t hurt arround back and waist.

Muy buena calidad de piel, 5mm de grosor ayudan a que no haga daño al hacer ejercicios que no sean sentadilla. Tener cuidado con las tallas, cogí una L y me iba enorme, cuando en teoría entraba al rango minimo de las medidas para una L
