Work it did! I have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler, I suspected I had the dreaded leaking oil filter housing / oil cooler but was wishing I could get a closer look before going to the mechanic. Over to Amazon, and I found different options including this unit. Opened the unit, it was already charged, and I powered the unit on and started playing! The display is adequate (your not getting iPhone liquid crystal display quality, but it gets the job done), I ran the camera down into the engine block and there it was, the pool of dinosaur juice I didn’t want to see……. The camera had 16 foot of cable, had options to invert the camera angle, had an option to activate a light at different levels, and worked well! I am sure there are more professional high resolution units that exist, but for what I needed it did the job perfectly and now I have it forever and I am sure it will come in handy every now and again.

My fiance works on pur vehicles often. He needed a camera to be able to make sure there were no metal shavings in a newly threaded spark plug. He also does HVAC work for a living. This camera helped with the spark plug and now is coming in very handy for looking in ducts etc for his job.

This is a great value for your money. I bought it without a lot of expectations but have been pleasantly surprised. My neighbor was helping me with a project where I was using this and he was so impressed he went home and bought one himself. It’s easy to use and provides a good picture quality for objects close to lens. With its built in light and long cable you can see in some rich places that would otherwise be impossible.

I’ve been using horoscopes for 40 years on jet engines. They cost thousands of dollars this is a very good price for an in-home baroscope and even though it does not articulate, you can bend the end and it kind of stays where you bend it and it works very well for a lot of around the house things you can look down an intake manifold at the valves to see if they’re carbon up Battery last a long time it’s just a really very very good tool for the money

Cam video is good and monitor is nice. Needed to look into hvac vents to see if damaged but can only push into vent about a ft or two then the cable stiffness is gone and just coils up. Will try their push pull wire spool and see if has better rigidity to help feed cable down the vents.

I might have expected too much. The biggest problem I found was the fact you can’t control the camera angle and when you are trying to capture an image any more than a few feet away it is almost impossible. The sleeve of the camera twists so no control there either,also at sixteen feet long the only option would be to just drop it in to something and hope for the best. Another problem is when you do drop it in to a dark place the light from camera is over come by the darkness and the only thing that you can see is what is right in front of the camera.So pretty much useless when you can’t control the direction or the visibility. I don’t know how or who could use this but there might be an application out there that it would work for.As for me I will invest in one I can control the camera angle and light output without 16 feet of unusable cable.

Easy to use and looks great.

Great little camera, i bought a few to Compare. I kept this one, picture quality was better. Perfect for electrical works, finding joints above ceilings, avoiding the need to take up floors and cut hatches in some cases. Worst case its a small 14mmish hole Not sure if this model is discontinued though as couldnt find any when a mate wanted one.

I have to say I think these endoscope cameras are pretty good. I have an endoscope that attaches to my iPhone but I really wanted to have one as well that does not need wifi or phones or apps. It does not allow you to take pictures but it lets you see what you would otherwise not be able to. Think you lost something under an appliance_now you can scope it out. Need to check out your gutters_now you can. Need to see inside a motor_yup, you guessed it now you can. There have been many times when I am doing something that I've not able to get to or see what I need to and this handy little gadget will let me see where I can't reach. I love that I can peek into my air vents, look through radiators etc_overall a well built endoscope that is very easy to use with really no instructions needed it is that easy to use! Comes with instruction book, charge cable, clips the slip over the end of the camera which lets you hook or grab something like your keyring you dropped and can't reach_so many possibilities...Overall it's a pretty decent picture and I'm happy with it.

Das Endoskop besteht aus dem Bedienteil mit Bildschirm und 5 m Kabel, an dessen vorderem Ende das Objektiv sitzt, das wiederum von acht LEDs umsäumt wird. Diese LEDs lassen sich heller oder dunkler stellen, so dass man für praktisch jede Situation die richtige Beleuchtung findet. Das Objektiv vergrößert in den Stufen 1,5x und 2,0x und lässt sich außerdem nach links und nach rechts schwenken. Falls erforderlich kann man das Bild auch um 180° drehen, so dass es auf dem Kopf steht. Im Lieferumfang sind außer einer kurzen, aber ausreichenden Bedienungsanleitung und einem Ladekabel noch zwei sehr nützliche Zubehörteile enthalten, die man anstelle des normalerweise angeschraubten Ringes an der Objektivlinse anschrauben kann: Einmal ein kleiner Haken und zum zweiten ein kleiner Magnet, beides sehr nützlich, siehe weiter unten. Die Bildqualität ist sehr gut, das farbige Bild gut ausgeleuchtet und detailreich. Durch die Vergrößerungs- und Bewegungsfunktionen kann man das Objektiv so einstellen, dass man genau den Bildausschnitt sieht, den man möchte. Das ziemlich starre Kabel stört nur unwesentlich, man kann es in nahezu allen Fällen durch Herausziehen und Neueinschieben dahin bringen, wo man es haben möchte. Objektiv und Kabel sind wasserdicht, nur Hitze mögen sie nicht, weil ansonsten die schützende Beschichtung Schaden erleiden könnte. Bei Inspektionen der Brennräume eines Motors o.ä. also Vorsicht! Erst abkühlen lassen! Das Endoskop eignet sich hervorragend für die Inspektion von Karosseriehohlräumen im Fahrzeugbereich. Desweiteren kann man z.B. auch die Innenseiten von (leeren!) Motorradtanks kontrollieren, z.B. auf Rostbefall. Auch in den Tiefen des Motorraumes einen Autos oder einer Motorradverkleidung bleibt nur noch wenig verborgen. Ich konnte z.B. eine ärgerlicherweise in die Verkleidung meines Motorrades gefallene Mutter nicht nur orten, sondern mit dem kleinen Zubehörmagneten auch gleich wieder bergen. Bei Inspektionen von Abflussrohren bietet das Endoskop ebenfalls gute Unterstützung, mit dem Zubehörhaken lassen sich Kleinigkeiten meist auch gleich beseitigen, bevor es zu wirklichen Verstopfungen kommt. Insgesamt ist das Endoskop eine feine Sache, es hilft in vielerlei Situationen weiter, bietet eine hohe Bildqualität und ermöglicht die Kontrolle auch von versteckten Räumen. Ich kann es sehr empfehlen! Noch eine Anmerkung: Vielleicht ist Ihnen aufgefallen, dass ich ausschließlich von einem „Endoskop“ gesprochen habe, nicht von einer „Kamera“ oder „Endoskopkamera“. Dies aus einem ganz einfachen Grund: Eine Kamera ist definiert als ein Gerät zum Anfertigen photographischer oder filmischer Aufnahmen und genau das kann dieses Gerät nicht, was es aber auch gar nicht vorgibt.
